One Step To Freedom

Standing at the pointed edge of this cliff,
Staring down at the jagged rocks below...
Still holding the fraying ropes of life,
Hanging from above...
Wondering... I Shrug,
Should I just let go?
Supposedly a light at the end of the tunnel,
Just how long is this winding road?
Total darkness along the way...
Just too tired of the never ending cold!
