Tides of Life

Where would the fun be
If I had all the answers
I know just enough
And I'm glad it's so little
For tomorrow things will change

Gentle Tides

gently tides rush upon a barren shore,
lifting gravel from beneath a bare sky,
lit only by the light of the moon pulling waves fast,

	flowing, ebbing with the tides...

Tides

Tides

The desolate moon
Shining soft upon the earth.
Soon sways sweet love's tides.

Tides

I like the cold nights
The more so when there's no moon
No clouds in the sky
The whole planet seems to drift
Floating on galactic tides

In moon's silent pull,
Oceans breathe, a rhythm vast,
Life sways in its dance.
In tides' ebb and flow, we hear
Nature's murmur, time's clasp.

Plastic Tides

There's an ocean of plastic waste
Which Trump claims just adds to the taste
Marine life is best
When put to the test
Besides who can tell in fish paste?

Listen to poem:
Alert we wake to a morningtide

Bright-eyed inside, when it rains noontide

We downed a few

All drunk we knew

We danced to wrong homes at eveningtide

Premium Member Coatimundi

I once met a young coatimundi,
Vacationing by the Bay of Fundy.
In hopes of staying trim,
He went for a brief swim,
But sixty-foot tides swept him to Dundee.

Stem Tides of Sin

Stem Tides of Sin

Tides of sin we again will try to stem;
After night was dark and always grim;
Tried to count;
A large amount,
And always remember each of them.

Your Tides Surface Me With Your Love

love, you surface me
like pebbles on a fawn beach-
      rocky ground turns soft

Moments, once held, vanished like spider webs.
Whispers held captive, like tides, too soon ebb.

Tides

As the tides roll in off the sea
Erased are the days memories
In sand many poems were written
Epithets sketched in bare feet-
Reading the unwritten-
Under the shade of fading willow tree

Tides

My heart is darker than the water since you left.

I feel you in the wind, our spirits live on through the people around me.

Their laughter reminds me of us.

When we were happy.

Mood Tides

A push, a pull
something always moves me;

mood tides stir up

an emptiness to be filled
a fullness to be emptied

I move to maintain balance
among six billion synchronized
motions.

Tides of Love

All the grains of sand
And the wave-lapping
Calm
Could not erase
The joyous pain
Of love once felt
All-engulfing
And in finale
Dying in the
Aftermath
Of the tide
Washed away to
Sea again
