Tides

In moon's silent pull, Oceans breathe, a rhythm vast, Life sways in its dance. In tides' ebb and flow, we hear Nature's murmur, time's clasp.

A melodious poem that makes me think of waves rushing to the shore.

Wonderful tanka, Don. I think you've hit on an excellent vehicle for your linguistic and literaturistic -- lovely word there -- talents. You are a master at these. Bravo, Gershon

a rhythmic and flowing Tanka. On the surface the poem appears to be about ocean tides but subtly alludes to life's silent tides that pull on us with ebb and flow. Outstanding poem, Don. Wishing you a pleasant evening, Sara
