Memories

Moments, once held, vanished like spider webs.
Whispers held captive, like tides, too soon ebb.

Wonderfully expressed, Ann. The sense of impermanence in our lives is well captured. Congratulations! Peace + good health to you always. Brian

Thank you so much for your comments, Brian. It's also sad to see memories disappear in a once vibrant mind.

Thanks for your kind words, Michelle. After writing it, I thought it sounded like senility. But, I guess, lost memories are a form of senility. I still remember the dress I wore on my first real date, but forget names I knew 10 yrs ago :)
