Memories

Moments, once held, vanished like spider webs. Whispers held captive, like tides, too soon ebb. September 24, 2021 L Milton Hankins "Your Best Rhyming Couplet" contest 6th Place!

Thank you so much for your comments, Brian. It's also sad to see memories disappear in a once vibrant mind.

Thanks for your kind words, Michelle. After writing it, I thought it sounded like senility. But, I guess, lost memories are a form of senility. I still remember the dress I wore on my first real date, but forget names I knew 10 yrs ago :)
