*****
fate spins
sin wins
midnight settles over unbroken plain,
crickets stitch faint threads of sound,
stars embrace the silence
"a stitch in time"
is but a second gone
never to return
sewn in the mind, warped by time
threads return to yesterday
Eternal wisdom
wound into the very threads
of Life's tapestry.
No human flame can burn a-
way this underlying truth.
Unblemished vellum
Begs the Imagist's pardon:
Forsake not my skin -
Complete my chaste nakedness
With threads of dappled spectra
In the flashes, the acts...
continuous skein of days
the needle sews the tears,
love heals wounds...!

**********
Saffron swirled silence
nature's artisan
busy spinning silver threads-
web cradles rain drops
For the Thread contest
2/3/12
it looks like an old she
a witch maybe
her clothes
tattered
look like thin reed threads
hanging down
all around
her frail bent body
What exceeds our finest?
The humbled Master's love!
His neglected purple,
linking earth to above,
became such scarlet threads.
river threads through stones
soft patterns shaping the day
sunlight leans into the drift
I follow its trace
Rice paper windows,
soften threads of perfect light
a skin to your hands
as we sip our steaming tea
and spill secrets of the day.
TIES THAT BIND

ethereal
threads
Timeless abiding -
Moments of silky threads hold-
Our hearts in one string
Inspired by Raul’s “Sentiments of the heart contest”!

Threads of silk
Showers heard

Form:
threads of your
sweet smile
weaved through
my soul and
flows like
the River Nile
that embrace this
journey called love
no one feels the string
passing from a hand to hand,
weaving the loose threads ~
only when it starts to fray
do we notice the weft loom
Fine
Very fine
Like a worm
Shirt cotton threads pull
And fray
Bare skin
Pale skin finally
Appears through the gasps
Through the holes
White fluffy clouds suspended
By elaborate knotted
Hammock, soft luxurious
To touch, clouds dampen light threads
my thoughts orbit
the very essence
of her mystery
pulled in by her gravity
like poetry in motion

Visual 1
spun from silver threads their hair
is twinkling with spirit light
Glints that scintillate, with love
Angel's hair a flow
soft dawn stirs my hidden heart
rain-light threads through waking trees
shadows loosen from my soul
truth lifts like a rising bird
weaving of life
life is a patch work of thread
life is woven from threads of time
each patch, forming our tapestry
until time runs out of thread.
A stench of gunpowder
threads that frayed yet never broke
A dove bows its head
Hope appears when hate provides;
Our positive vibes will turn the tides.
Like our spools of strong red threads;
Wondrous ideas unite sacred friends.
