threading a cerulean course

her eyes were blue skies

the thrill of the hunt was a long track
she was like finding a needle in a haystack
he finally captured her eyes
thread to bare was full size
threading the needle took patience and tack

New Dress
The nimble thimble
Once touch this heart
Pushing shapely
Piercing my heart
Threading with loops
Around and around
Tying us together
Forever
Dressed as one
Completely covering
Our Love
Sewing our buttons on
Fastening this love
A pattern of
Gods Love...

Premium Member Red At Night
Great black clouds
Clot the blood-red sky,
Pink stained shadows
Where daylights go to die.
Candlelit processions
In valley ways awake,
Trickle waxen grief
Onto valley lake,
Threading bright the promise
Though choir has ceased refrain,
Holding back the night
That dawn should come again....

Ponybeading
Seeing all the shades of the beads
Plucking them up one by one.
Annoyed as though they are weeds,
But so worth it to choose a ton.

Selecting all the patterns of colours,
Carefully threading them unto a necklace.
Instead of going to do any chores,
I am often crafting with a smile on my face....

Speaking Through Mirror
Take a trip into my mind
Threading every vine
Years took part
Creating this art
Shine it must
Gain to adjust
A voyage to see
As precious as every leaf
Speaking through mirror
Moments familiar
Every craft
Built to last
Layered by heart
A fresh new start
Positive adventure
Painting with kisses of nature...

Expressions
The shoulders are shrugging
His mouth is contorting
Ears are glowing
The jaw is snorting.

The legs are stretching.
His eyes are spreading
Big nostrils flaring
The skin is threading.

Mars passing Venus
Oceans are roaring
Mountains are trembling
Salt is pouring.

Fists are clenching into clubs
Books are speaking against the rubs....

Sing a song to Earth…
Archetypical Mother,
Our feeding Bosom…

2.	PRIVILEGED

Look in the mirror:
Created in His image…
Beautifully hued

3. DAMN HUNGER

Hunger…unworthy
Throw away the leftovers:
We must save more lives…

Premium Member Betsy Ross Lied
To the Redcoats Betsy Ross lied.
“It is not a flag!” she decried.
“I'm due at a wedding
and all of this threading
will be a new gown for the bride!”

“But it isn't just one little dress,”
with nose growing she had to confess,
“A collection I've planned--
t'will sell big in the land--
at my discount stores, Ross Dress for Less”!...

Life of Letters
I'll earn a living joining letters;
Threading those small to some big,
And others smaller than them;
To make a tree and it's twig,
Supported by so strong a stem.

My life shall be that of letters
And cherishing their family
Of words and phrases,
For these are strange and comely.

I'll break from lethargy's fetters,
And earn a living stringing letters....

Veins of Silver
Veins of silver
threading through
skies of most translucent blue,
Glinting chains of
vapour white,
in the haze of blinding light.
Where are they
in gleaming shell
destined to depart and dwell?
Who are they
or headed to,
what life beyond the vivid blue?
Veins of silver
widen slow,
disappear like melting snow,
veins of silver
then disperse
like ghosts into the universe....

Symphonic Memories.
Theft of echo’s
Remains of a rhythm
Ballads of the soul
A vivid threading
Of silence woven
Captured by will

Impressions in air
Flying on severed wings
Of burning design
Orange flamed fingers
Lighting the darkness
Of the past

On tongues of merriment
Symphonies crafted
Lonely walks amongst
Moments of divination
Fragrant and glowing
The song in her eyes

Life’s gift embraced…...

CHASING THE DREAM

Sahara like breeze blows Nubian melodies
serenading warm ebony loins. Nile River
ecstasy birth beautiful bronze broods
in the spaces left by wandering time.

Truth etches freedom threading
between the banks of reality;
in the shadows of Moses
the glimpse from the mountain top reflects
fleeing visions of the drummer’s dream deferred.

The morning comes: a new day begins....

Ghastly Rich Adventure! Pt2
minutes adorned-still, savouring
Liveth she long, liveth the queen (justly adorned in royal threading)
Liveth ye both happily in dreams amid thy seedly meadows of purple, silver and black that
both ye hath planted and tended so very well at that!
Burguandy sculptures beneath thy spiral staircase of fir
Ghastly rich adventures!!!
(Lord forgive me, thy heart and soul-I have always hated the colour purple!)...

Threading Needles In the Dark
Taking time to test tradition,
I entered a stage of your tragedy
where high hopes ended in question marks
as a mad dog bared its teeth.

You asked me if I'd help you
thread a needle in the dark,
and when the cold steel pierced my skin,
I felt your pain
but I let it sting.

A drop of blood upon my lips,
I waited for a tender kiss,
but you left me on a stairway in the rain
threading needles in the dark....

Black Concept
Hmm l smell it /
Hmm l smell it
Over here
Now over there
Even as we wiggle
Then try to mingle
Along Goughzou lane
Moving all up
To Vicky’s place
Chatting up Yan
Even as she spins her wheels
 threading us up
all slim and trendy
Hmm l smell it
Even as l shudder
With each breath
Slowing down my haste
From pace to pace
I took a bend
Only to be dazzled
As we marvelled
at the black to black concept...

Memories linger…
Where loves have come and gone
Blessing in deeds, the happy ones…

As lessons soothing
Threading into past life event’s
Make more valued, better memories

Meanings made so much more clear
Even as curiosities rule days

So do I, am I, in finding my true Self…
Allowed to look for better pleasures
To grow even more...

So, in Sunset’s Time
As final rays fill my eyes
I humbly submit to… a very well done....

Addicted? Who me?
Could stop any time
One cup a day?
Would do me just fine

Aside from the shakes
Freaking out now and then
Craving that fix
Going off the deep end

Trust me I'm fine
Not being deceitful
Shakes aren't a problem
'Cept threading a needle

But I'll have to admit
Some lives have been ruined
Caffeine's the nemesis
Cut down on the brewin'

Whoever discovered it
Was a downright putz
To cause so much grief
With one li'l ole cup!

Threading a Needle
Oh, it’s hard to thread a needle!
You must coax and beg and wheedle
Though, of course, it will ignore your fervent pleas;
For the eye’s so very teeny
That your temper might get spleeny
As the thread gets close, but just enough to tease.

So you try ad infinitum –
Thread and needle – to unite ‘em
As your patience, like the thread, begins to fray
And you realize that your sewing
Is like life, the way it’s going,
Tossing challenges to stump you every day....

Premium Member Zinc White and Blue Ultramarine
I hear currawongs threading
their melodic calls through
the trees, sewing a dark
into the cold air.
And far below,
a flock of white cockatoos
screech their noisy chaos
along the deepening shadows
of the valley floor.

They seem like dabs
of zinc white escaping
from a painting, sprouting
wings to lift them
from the canvas
and fly them to where
they flicker on the edge
of the unseen,
before dissolving forever
into the distances
of blue ultramarine.
