Veins of Silver
Veins of silver
threading through
skies of most translucent blue,
Glinting chains of
vapour white,
in the haze of blinding light.
Where are they
in gleaming shell
destined to depart and dwell?
Who are they
or headed to,
what life beyond the vivid blue?
Veins of silver
widen slow,
disappear like melting snow,
veins of silver
then disperse
like ghosts into the universe.
