The mantra of the government
(though I'm sure it's nothing new) is:
Take heed to
   what I'm saying
instead of
   what I actually do.

Mis-Deeds

Knowing his fair share of misdeeds
A message was sent, saying take heed
He ignored the threat
That he lived to regret
He's now floating on the Florida Keys

Tear
           into me,
mold with your scratches;
Carve away all the excess;
           Sculpt,
reshape the left over bits;
Take heed with matches;
    My crux chokes
              air.

Jans Farts

Jan,
haven't you learnt to control it,
you know it's quite an art,
a lady should hold it in
and never try to fart.
I hope that you take heed
just a little bit,
coz it's really not that nice
for a lady to smell of ****.

The Art of Trying

Unless you are a god
And are guaranteed to succeed
In every trial on deed…

Take heed
And try today.
With speed,
Forget the way
You failed
And then retry.
Unlike like chorus from a ballad
Just strife to retry in-differently

Shadow me not,

for in my light you will disappear,

Take up your own rein,

disperse with your speak,

dwell not,

My warning take heed,

your rhetoric is plagued,

hitch hikers, decline their thumb.

Your words know their own way home.

YOU

Your
Uncaring eyes
Push me
Repulsively
Praise me down
In a pit of abysmal.
Your balance ego
Keeps me on the void
Painted walls
Hidden truth

Take heed
While I,
Twitch
Bitter
Words
Of yuck
Behind your back.

Don’t push it, resistance has limits.
Back up.

I will always close space between us,
two steps;

Notice this conflagration of words;
Take heed.

It’s unwelcome, your brand of teasing;
Just stop;

I’m not meek or mild I’ve come to win
your game.

Premium Member Stand, Not Fall

We all have goals, pursue them
Wherever the place, arrive
Time is never on your side
Things happen, knowing not why
Crescendo always subsiding
Our lives keep on dividing
Without pause, always carry on
To listen, you hear it all
Take heed; stand, not fall

We Need To Teach the Youths

We need to teach the youths
On how to succeed
Build them up with courage and dignity
So they can prosper and take heed
Tough love may be on display
Because we want them to do their best
Encourage them to stay on the right path
And aim for excellence

Keep An Eye On

Regretful

REGRETFUL
Once more and ever sorrowful
I see the bitter past
Can I perceive tomorrow till
The dark of night has passed

With time the damned
Take heed and heart
Past deeds they whimper still
Conscience jams the nutter part
So says the whip-or-will

A Few Haiku

cold water
slapped by beaver tail
take heed

red maples
anticipating
spring’s fire

city slickers
feet slapping wet pavement
a waddle of ducks

And a Senryu

hidden rings
protect her secret
twenty nine years

When I Die

When I die
Baby please don't mourn
Remember my laughter
Forgive my foolish ways
Take heed of my poems
For each tell a tale
Remember my adventures
Remember my words
I may not of been perfect
My mistakes were my own
Baby please don't mourn
Shead no tear
Have no fear
When I am gone.

Amazing Poet She Was

I am Somebody

Have not but will I have
Take heed and I will hear
Sunder and I will give in
Suffering life with pain

Transform I will change
Happiness is my joy
Tenderness is my softness
Life is my death

Winning is my game

Inspired by: Emily Dickinson "I am nobody! Who are you"

You Don'T See Me

I see you but you don't see me.
I've tried to show you but you wont take heed.
How can we be together if you wont let yourself believe.
You got to act now don't know how long I can wait.
The stakes are high but with you by my side we will both survive.
If only you could see me through your own eyes.
