feck and friggin to my chagrin
while trying to monorhyme like Lin
i find i’m back at square one once again

Happy retirement to me,
I got my first pension check this week,
and I take great comfort in knowing,
that I never have to work again,
unless social collapse comes,
then it's back to square one....

Left In the Grave
Once or twice
I will be nice
And then I'm absolutely done
Not one more warning
No more mournings
Back to square one
I am the Lord
Cannot afford
Mistakes you've made
Stick to the Plan
Results in Hand
Left in the grave...

this
liminal
           utopia
a vapid
         vapour
implodes
          before our
eyes:

we stand
            fixated
in gravitas,
             the sublime
in retreat,
        our mood blunt:
in fugitive mode
we clutch at hope
naked
      in our essence...

Dissed
I sent a note, two notes in fact
and hoped I’d get a message back,
but none came forth, for several weeks,
I waited for email or tweets.

I knew for sure she’d been online,
but did not write a single time,
so I guess then there’s nothing there,
now I’m back to square one, I fear....

Square One
Baren dispair I'm barely even here in this desolate town I call my mind, broken and bent outa time ,actions have been outa line ,left the town in mess an distress, the waste land I created, the self I've hated, the monster I'm become, heart broken, sharp with my tounge, made vacancies for disrespectful guests, now I'm back to square one on my spiritual quest...

The Square
I love how it’s symmetrical,
Each side a perfect match.
In former days, when jeans were ripped,
It made the perfect patch.

To call someone a square, though,
Was insulting, but a deal
That’s square was something good, just like
Receiving a square meal.

We square away our debts;
A square dance can be lots of fun.
I could go on forever or
Go back to (pause)…square one!...

On Tuesday November 23rd
Born again,
but was never dead,
just constant sinking
arms and legs made of lead
Square One and city-centre
the wandering to and fro
memories laced with scattered birds and trees
and cookie-cutter houses
Where lives are private
-I don't intrude-
and mind my own in solitude,
The quietude busy with the clicking of computers
and open eyes in study
never quite the same......

Victory Is Yours
V-ictory is yours,
I-n the world of struggle;
V-ery good fight for the faith
I-s fought not in a barrel.
A-s victory is yours, never let it slip away;
N-ever go back to square one, go for the crown all the way.

S-uccess is truly yours,
A-llowing you to jump;
N-ice move has given you
T-riumph over the hump.
I-t's twentieth of May,
A-pplause comes of course;
G-old medal is awarded,
O-nce victory is yours....

Cup of Joe
Cut to the chase
Between a rock
And a hard place
Back to square one
Piece of cake
Dime a dozen
Truth is stranger than fiction

Cold turkey
Down and out
Down for the count
Down to Earth
Drawing a blank
Easy as pie
Eat my hat
Go for broke
Truth is stranger than fiction

Hands down
Happy as a clam
Hard pill to swallow
High and dry
Head over heels
Toe to toe

Truth is stranger than fiction....

Back To Square One
Disaster has once again struck
my heart that harbors no luck,
And in my own melancholy
I once again face a harsh reality.

Months ago, I met a dazzling flame;
A phoenix who put me to immediate shame,
who lit my heart with a golden ember,
and gave me hope of a possible forever.

Now, here I am again,
back to square one with my pen.
I'm still happy about this opportunity
to search for another ephemeral eternity....

Square One Never Given
Research of an introverts passion and finding a relationship.
Delusion is my work base.
Everyone else forgot to come.
Stuck in my mind the relationship breaks down due to the weather changing.
Creating dramatic heart break.
Seeing lots of effects and technologies advancing.
Reborn going back school education to a certain degree to figure out the math.
Nothing stops in an introvert mind as i begin my research.
Searching for passion....

I Hate You
You fill me with hope then storms blow me down
When I smile you create happy into a frown
Promises of being a father, sadly I believed you
Back to square one i'm alone deja vu
Called me a parasite to crawl somewhere away
Scum and digusting is something else you say
Called me ugly and stupid for those years
Th cruelness won't reduce me to anymore tears
I hate you, detest you and us forever to be apart
Decision final daddy, you have no place in my heart...

Man of Many
I feel like a man of many but i master none

Too many dreams out there to just go after one

Its like my aspirations leave just as soon as they come

I take a loss, dust off,and its back to square one

Dreams...

"Where is the rest of it?"

Foolish thoughts of a pessimist

The hardest thing for me in this life is to make the best of it.

i figure since in life things aren't as they seem, I'll wake up and have another someday

Know what i mean?...its a dream....

Lesbia
There was a big question. Why
one was not raped.
It hits the gate of heaven.

The moon has not risen.
I become a victim of an elegy
before my demise.

Thus I am back to square one,
when I had not fallen in love
and you were still in errancy.

Pleading for levitation in tender
zone.It was the blackbird
which was not ready to swallow a moon.

Scaling the peaks without climbing.
I am going to bring down the milk
of an artist, who would not
paint a goddess.
