Back To Square One

Disaster has once again struck my heart that harbors no luck, And in my own melancholy I once again face a harsh reality. Months ago, I met a dazzling flame; A phoenix who put me to immediate shame, who lit my heart with a golden ember, and gave me hope of a possible forever. Now, here I am again, back to square one with my pen. I'm still happy about this opportunity to search for another ephemeral eternity.
