Biblical Spurn
At the polls you can vote G.O.P.
To suppress all the poor folks you see
But after you die
You'll find you can't fly
Through the eye of a needle like me!...

Its Summer, and Holidays
Our spirit's levity
At liberty
In warmed up air, as real felt
As makes dizzy!

Now eye to eye can go
Each sigh to know
With whom, carefree and careless
Off them, astray
World of hardships spurn! Off, away.
Poor moth! Poor thou!...

When God Moves
When God moves,
we should get in his groove.
With sin he wants no part,
and all of evil from within he wants to depart.
We should give our heart to God away,
and do it now without delay.
For if this we spurn,
then a unwelcomed lesson we will one day learn....

Scholar
Scholar

New doctrine I yearn to learn
New doctrine I avoid to spurn
I always endeavour to master
Rare teachings quite faster!

Although effort has no dollar
To new teachings I'm a Scholar
For, to know outside the wall
Of self, is next to knowing all!

feral ripple in space
though invisible perhaps
blood trace on God’s face
marking our soul’s disgrace

alone
we atone
as of soul’s choice
the seeds we have sown

we burn
we live and learn
in this mind-body urn
until dark desires we spurn

there is no shame
treat it like a game...

Seize the Moment
Know that Time is brief and passing
It is terrible; it devours all beings
Moment is the essence of time
That yesterday seems like a dream
And the rosy tomorrow is but a vision
So drop the past and spurn the future
It is utterly futile to seek happiness
Seize the moment wisely and be happy....

Decisions
We are on a precipice of War
Yet you spurn the most skilled Knight
Just to stoke your selfish Desire?
You choose pettiness over the Realm

The tempest is Imminent
Yet you let the chief captain disembark
Just to assert your dominance against mutiny?
 You choose self-aggrandizement over Lives.

Oh Master!...

Elegant Lies, Inelegant Ties
What feral dogs bark at my door?
As I lick my wounds,
In de rigor discord,
Whose music do I play?
Or verses time has left to say,
What chattels at my core,
Deny me life I've lived before?
On my horizon I see tears,
Embark on my face to empty years,
With nowhere else to turn
I turn sideways
Whete I will spurn and then
Burn...

Premium Member A Greek Tragedy
I knew an old woman from Greece Whose whinging words would seldom cease She’d constantly whine When drunk on red wine Her husband’s in dire need of peace! How much cash does a Grecian earn - such questions I tried hard to spurn Her husband went mad and did something bad - she’s interred in a Grecian urn! 8/20/19

Holy Intent of Love
H-oly intent of love
A-ims to accept all things;
N-ever will it blame the bad days,
N-or will it spurn the blessings.
A-s the holy intent of love lets you open your heart;
H-ear the rhythm deep inside, it promises a fresh start.

Riverland
Restless river winds.
       winnowing valley farmland.

In Father's garden chickens squawk, squabble.
       Silver sunlight dances.

       Hens spurn gardens bounty,
       for girl in dusty pants,
       rattling evenings grain bowl.
       Prancing single file behind
       fowl feet indent narrow path.

       Wind rustles treetops....

Task of Sweet Butter (Than-Bauk)

Odious
An unloved woman
Is married to a mean ghost
She sees not nor feels.

Terrorizing her
And haunting another house,
He is like the wind.

Earth reels with tremblings
As his spirit takes a maid;
It can not bear it.

Now so repugnant,
She wonders in mystery
And is supplanted.

What predicaments
Caused spurn and frequent visits
Of horrific love?...

Good Poverty
The best thing about poverty
is how it grows.
And makes our leaders
come to blows.

When all our branches
come to know
the very olive
each can sow.

That every leader
comes to fall
from knowing more
than one and all.

As every leader
has to learn
that handling others
comes with spurn.

And poverty
can only be
when all our leaders
can't agree....

Pride
In our deepest despair
when misfortune's albatross
swoops down on us,
we let them burn...
all we love most...

When sore and unsure
separated from false strength
and all which gave comfort,
We build brick walls...
Rather than bridges.

Yet we learn not
and hate that impulse
to seek solace when hurt,
we spurn true friends...
And hate our vulnerability....

Premium Member Man's Best Friend
He sits up, he begs for you
   Rolls over, does tricks too
Dare you spurn his advances
He'll whimper, look askance at you

When he sees you coming down the trail
He barks excitedly, wags his tail
Extend him your arms
He jumps up and licks you, inflicts no harm

When your partner just 'can't comprehend'

Integrity
Venture without stopping
Hold on to your dream
Remain flipping flopping
That dream will lose gleam

Demur without waver
Do not hesitate
Defer, Accept favour
And you seal your fate

Observe, eschew bias
And trust what you see
Maintain neither pious
Submission; be free

Toward freedom aspire
Spurn hegemony
Honest witness require
For integrity

Require Responsible People and More
Require Responsible People

Require responsible people to be reliant;
Simultaneously conforming and compliant,
Would spurn;
Tables turn,
Then did discover each one was defiant.

Republican pouncing;

Premium Member With a Spurn of Yellow and a Shout
With a spurn of yellow and a shout
   A lone Mexican poppy
Aside the mountain path
   Caught my meandering eye.

How diminutive was its stem
And so few were its petals –
Nevertheless – smart with poison –
As it stood there – tranquil.

For one who’s loud in color –
I warned the little poppy –
It’s not good to be popular
For you can be plucked easily....

Premium Member Grandma Joy Puffed Me Up
Grandma Joy stirred the eggs so they would not burn
I often watched, admiring her hands with spots
She gave me a smile, and let me have a turn
I love her aged arms, they are covered with dots
I told her about the young girl who did spurn
Grandma gave me compliments, and I mean lots.
Knew what she was doing, loved her anyway.
Full of eggs, I enjoyed the rest of my day....
