Man's Best Friend
He sits up, he begs for you
Rolls over, does tricks too
Dare you spurn his advances
He'll whimper, look askance at you
When he sees you coming down the trail
He barks excitedly, wags his tail
Extend him your arms
He jumps up and licks you, inflicts no harm
When your partner just 'can't comprehend'
