I have found out another word that has such a different meaning to the Brits, must make a poem from it lol:-) Yes we do have great difference in our pronunciation of certain words:-) hugs Jan xx

indeed....the answer to the proverbial question "what's worse than finding a worm in your apple?".....((finding HALF a worm in your apple))
