Cleaning the Spring

cleaning the spring
of decaying leaves and branches
clean when you see
blue skies and salamanders
near the bubbling vents

Quench my wretched thirst

Late Summer

late summer
we gulp spring water from mason jars
during the harvest
and lay out sandwiches for lunch
and shelter in the barn from storms

Premium Member Spring Has Sprung

The fresh blue sky
A sign that
Perhaps the
Spring has sprung.

Sharp cool passing showers
Confirmation of the fact
That YES
Spring has begun.

Cool spring water, have a drink
More refreshing, than you think
Clear like a crystal
Reflections of the moon light
Dive right in, enjoy the night
Feel the water's call

Lithesome

... lithesome fawn stops, stoops to drink

    spring water fresh, cool

    and clear

... such graceful creature of art

    with a fat flea behind

    its ear!

Beside the Waterfall

Scented balm of spring uplifts the soul ~
As sparkling, tranquil waters roll.

Oasis

Opalescent sky cast a pink glow As I walked slowly through the hourglass of time Somewhere in the middle of nowhere I found your footprints on the sand Spring water flowed across the desert of my heart.

Ducks Are the First To Sense the Warming of Water

Beyond the bamboo brush pop up a few twigs of peach blossom;
Ducks are the first to sense the warming of the river delightsome.
The beach wormwoods are everywhere while reeds in bud;
It is time for the globefish to swim upstream in spring flood.

In Spring

In Spring

In spring water troughs
fart all the
musical notes, butterflies go to
Collage school, four-leaf clovers babysit
bulldogs, placemats collect bits of
string to
make balls, lichen await letters from
royalty all over
the world, sticks go for
runs, not to
lose weight, but just for
fun.

Kissing the Surface of Natural Spring Water

kissing you is like kissing the surface of natural spring water
i let the whole of the feeling consume me
as a result, i am fully cleansed
the angels sing and dance
God gives His approval with a warm smile
i, in positive effect, feel loved
contentment more enlivened knowing that from you, the feeling is sincerely mutual

Be Quiet

In silence,
you can hear the tunes
of crickets in the night

In silence,
you can hear the sound
of leaves as they spiral
in the wind

In silence,
you can hear the gentle
flow of spring water
from the mountains

In silence,
you can hear the whispers
of your conscience
deep in your soul;
whispers that act as invisible
guides in our lives

can make
storm in glass
mountain spring water
The small waves provide enormous
The life can be absolutely anything you want
The reasons for war are elsewhere than just religion: It is about territory ...

Like Liquid Alabaster

She, like dark
liquid alabaster
on a busy street
moves like music
deferential, sweet
She, like spring water
pushed dust before her
gatherers warm hair
on her marble shoulder

All who watch her, pass
stop, look awhile,
greet alabaster girl
She dances, laughs
needs never glance
in shop glass
Alabaster girl
free, beauty abundant
please smile for me

Pure Spring Water

A-im at pure spring water,
R-each the fountain of truth;
I-t's free from dirt of lies,
E-very soul is truly
S-oothed.

P-ure spring water of life
O-bliterates the devil's dust;
N-o more trace of taint,
T-o let you continue to trust.
E-vil deed is washed away,
J-oy shall come from the Father;
O-n the twenty-fourth of January, bathe with pure spring water.

Early Spring Mourn

Cherry blossoms shudder
like weeping women
their delicate pink tears
tickle the pond's icy surface

Pawn fish pond.
The golden bream
of Koi lustre
mired in cold spring water

They shadow dance
next to the green bank
where blades of frozen crocus'
huddle together for warmth

The Gods move so slowly
these days
Sighing on the black wings
of crows
who wonder if Winter
will ever end

watering can full of fresh spring water
multicolored chickadee with a pretty song
spider keeping out of reach
bright yellow daffodils with ruffled necks
a fluffy eager bunny with the fluffiest tail
gorgeous purple and white African violets
polka dotted ribbons around gardening pots
a simple monarch butterfly with her eye on the prize
snores of a happy bumble bee
spring is around the corner

Meramec Spring

The water rises from the silent cool
Deep cave whose mouth is yawning far below
The crystal surface of the clear blue pool:
A river is emerging in full flow.

The wiser trout weave rainbow bodies through
The labyrinth of rushes, and their fate
Is to grow old – unlike the youngsters who
Rush downstream where the patient anglers wait.
