L lively people
I in
C cold
K kingdoms
E eat
T tasty
Y yams
S sometimes
P people
L live
I in
T tents
this soul
i own and
i shall not grow tired of it
i cleaved
almost half of it but
still i split
the difference with this world
Vanilla, milk, and sugar are so delicious together,
But I add slices of the ripest banana to be sure
This is truly a dessert better than any other.
If a poet writes in a forest,
and no one is around to read it,
does it make a poem?
The jury is hung, the verdict is split.
Eden
In the myth
Appears to split..
The split points to
Everything which
Seems happening
To include the
Illusory split of
Eden...
She ran through the streets lickety-split
like a fine race horse chomping her bit
a race for the throne
winner gets the cone
cold ice cream crown a tasty tidbit
Two hearts share one beat
Abruptly they are seperated by tragedy
Life just became a question
Sorrow became the answer
Lost forever
The wound is beyond repair...
Her name is Weather, and she's such a tease-
with come-and-go split personalities.

If I could split my soul
I would want a three-way split
one would go into Cher
One would go into Bette Midler
I would retain one
in case the other two never returned
Amanda write limericks so darn quick
She just dashes them off lickety-split
Somehow she gets them to rhyme
Finishing each one in time
To post them before you can hit 'Submit'
Split personalities, if you found in a husband,
There is some plus, the circumstances under.
He will be twice as active in the bed!
But, here is a minus, he will eat more, squared.
Split my banana and stuff it with cream
top with tantalizing treats to extreme
nuts and silky sweetened balls
gooey toppings form seawalls
nothing left out of a lover's wet dream
Devils
Pale demonic devils
Satan
The earth he is hating
People
Destruction to steeples
Desire
To cast them in the fire
Earth
A realm under the dirt
Is hell
All the devils of hell
flushed swells at sunset
inflamed by pink skirted clouds…
-waves-
emote crimson whorls
rainbow wisped currents
preen and crest as daylight wanes …
-waves-
fan their peacock tails
Blue hue, violet rays
took my breath away.
Yellow mellow days
swallowed me whole.
Red shining danger signs
caught my guard down.
Black jack, apple mac,
oh! for the age of technology !
Form:
How can I stop love,
when its always in front of me?
When its always there?
Do I hate!
Or do I love?
I am split in two,
not knowing what to do.
I'm lost inside,
and just need to be found.
Form:
It's with longing, desire to fulfill each their own,
Silence slowly replaces their gutteral moan
If a creature so beautiful it's not with great fate,
this immortal should split, falling fast to the gate

Soon Would Split Both Wrists
Trump has been known to be a misogynist;
Good looking women loves and can't resist;
With much regret,
We here will set;
Sure wish he would soon split both wrists.

Saying no to the Muse
all sleep deprived
The darkness magic
—her words decry
Saying no to the Muse
time splits in half
Before in tatters
—after the fact
(Villanova Pennsylvania: June, 2016)
Love grows lickety-split
In the innocent hearts of
Children.
Keeping trust and hope alive;
Especially in
The very
Young.
Some
Philosophers contend that
Love
Is unique to
The soul of Man, and I agree.
pearls are being thrown
cast down before unworthy
thrones
oysters should bemoan

This is a "split-haiku" as described
in Mystic Rose's new haiku form.
Living
Independtly
Can cause
Keepsake
Encounters
To turn into traumatized
Yearnings
So some
People
Leave
Intimacy
Twisting
Giraffe at the watering hole
She splays her forelegs one at a time
levering, leaving dignity
behind, easing down to a
half sideways split; then bends
to drink, hoping no
lion arrives
blood-blushing
head rush
up
You shot me in the heart
and you don't miss its beat
nothing is as simple
as you want to believe...
numbed from head to toe
no one knows what you think
you, my hero and my villain
my life forever in half split.
