Thank you, Laura. Actually, I'm surprised at the attention this one is getting. I'm not very good with haiku, frankly. At least I don't think so.

Thanks, Caren. I rather liked it myself...especially the "unsettling silence." I love silence!

Great haiku though I have never seen snow in Malta. Greetings.

Thank you, Victor. I had wondered whether there was inclement weather in your part of the world.

Thanks, Bill. This haiku seems to be very well-received. They are difficult for me to write because I am so wordy by nature!

Aw, thanks, Andrea. You can borrow it if you like. Seriously, thank you so much for the read and the sweet comment. We haven't had a full ground-covering snow yet, but I do love the first one and looking forward to the walk.

Thanks, Jan. Do you have much snow on the Isle of Man? I thought not, but I'm not sure.

Actually no, Tom. Do you think I was subconsciously hoping for some? I love the first snow...and then I'm through with it! Thanks for the read.
