Isles of Seclusion

emotions sailing in choppy waters onward to isles of seclusion passion dinghies released seeking anchors of expression securely beached exploring wisdom shores

Premium Member To Live Fully

Layers of mountains surround me here
Changing color with the seasons
Showing how far one can go
To be all you can be
To securely know
To be fulfilled
No regrets
To live

Reaching For Jesus

I'm reaching for Jesus
as he securely takes hold of me,
firmly and surely
through the blood that once was shed.

I'm reaching for Jesus
while he calls for me to come,
though faith and in Grace
Jesus forever is mine.

The Profoundness Of The Art

Is the one that finds the heart
A true mystery
The courage to be me
Only our Lord
Could hem such a strong cord
Tightly and securely
The Lord has thee
Our place
Embraced
Thanks for caring
For those who may be wondering

securely hidden small secluded valley... morning awakens rainbows of color flowers glisten with fresh dew... animals abound fluffy clouds floating sunshine brings natural prizms... heaven, earth collide
Form: Haiku

Huffing and Puffing

The trio of porcine creatures, various dwellings did construct,
One straw, one stick...and one securely glued with brick.

A foul mouthed canine villain, chose their lives to disrupt,
One puff, one blow...but the last made him ever so sick.

God's Little Lamb

Jesus gathered a little lamb, and held it close to His heart.
It nestled there so securely, that from it He could not part.
So, He carried it in His arms to an eternal home above,
To a place He had prepared, filled with peace, and joy, and love.
Form: Rhyme

Melancholy

Those smiles bloomed, blossomed fawned
As tears now wander
Upon hearts squander
Love's grave has securely, purely, spawned

We kissed aflutter and danced in shimmer
And my hands apprised
But now glanced disguised
For the shadows glare dolour and dimmer

If Friends Were Flowers

If friends were flowers
surely I would not pick any flowers
I would water them with waters of respect and dignity
I'd let them grow in the garden of my heart
and cultivate with intimacy and care
that way they will be securely mine
till time do us apart

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY

He is here with us
Always
protecting,
providing peace
year round.
Validating His
Amazing
Love
Encouraging us,
nurturing our hearts.
Thankful for His
Immeasurable
nestling,
embracing us
securely.
Desiring that
All
Yearn to live for HIM!!!

Premium Member My Soul-Mate

What does it mean
to have a soul mate

Is it someone...
who listens with open ear?
who cares deeply for you?
who thinks about you night and day?

The touch of their lips against yours
their arms wrapped securely
around your body
protecting you from harm

Day

DAY
Dr. James E. Martin
During these hours there is much to do,
    Dreams will have to wait.
Anchored securely to this laboring duty,
Angry that I must work until eight.
Yesterday's chores were not completed on time,
Yet it should not be treated as a crime!

This Road

this road you travel
clearly marked
signs posted showing the way
no surprises will you encounter
no deep secrets to befuddle
spread your sleeping bag next to my fire
gaze peacefully at the moon overhead
as the angels spread stardust and you sleep
rest securely in the depths of my love

Love

Love that dies is never alive,
no matter how much you strive.

If you desire love to survive,
then you must know no strife.

Reach out and touch Gods outstretched hand,
He'll hold it securely in His near to His heart.

Love never dies,
it is alive and forever will be!

God's Arms

When I pass through the waters
And it seems I’ll surely fall,
Then I remember God is with me
And is watching over all.

He is ever faithful. He is
Always there with me.
When I cannot see- He can,
And I trust Him explicitly.

He will surely keep me
Free from all alarm.
For I am held securely,
Safe in God’s arms.

Flesh and Soul

A soul in flesh
Not trapped,
The two intertwined
Seeking to know the other.

Expressing the spectrum
Of emtions that run deep
 Covenants between
Flesh and soul
To securely know
Beginnings and Endings
One to the other
Inseparable
Comparable indeed
Most do heed intuitively
Wnat eyes don't comprehend.

Love: the Deathly and Delicate

Like the sight of Dandelions at an open venerate sepulcher.
Of the ardent touch, precipitously hailing two other's semblances to erudite tacit merit.
Voracious of the petal's vocation.
Voracious of the petal, so insatiably, so securely vulnerable, does she... does she not...
Delicate, denoted as such an inane, yet so gravely a significant.

Premium Member Safe Hands

My dear sweet heart!
Let me have the privilege to lend my hand.
A safe fist...
Worry not for any twist.
Life may be an uphill battle,
But assure...
“Lead you securely till my last breath!”

Mister Fear

Mr. Fear Hello, my old "friend," Mr. Fear, I see you’ve brought your butterflies; You have stiffened the stomach And tightened taut the eyes. What will I find in the reaches of my mind, Some mystery mean of the unanswerable kind? The goodness of God is very near. A prayerful petition will securely you bind.

Premium Member My Memories

My memories took flight from Spring's rookery,
Nurtured by Summer's warm seas and
Trade winds steady under dynamic skies,
Reinforced by Autumn's harvest and happenstance

Pray my memories remain deep within me like a
Fortress securely established on a rock mass,
High on golden hills, impregnable,
As Winter's cruel seas and merciless winds approach

Grandson

You are the newest thread in the tapestry of my life - once neatly-patterned, but now criss-crossed and sig-zagged with the vibrant strands of your sister. You, too, will be interwoven into the fabric of my life and be interlaced through its brightness and hues and be intricately entwined and securely knotted with one golden thread - Love.

Earth

too much madness
too much sadness
bring me serenity
bring me peace
when will my anxiety finally cease
I ask for just some gladness
I try to secure my identity
I try to exclude negativity
This stirring and restlessness within me
bubbles with frustration
What can be the key?
To be securely free
Oh, what a mess is this earthly creation
so it seems to me.

Beloved I Hold

Ever since I first held you,
I haven't let you go,

Your love delicate, potent
this smile I wear emulates
your love mirrored within

you move me,
my spirit influenced
cessation worthy
held securely

Each day our love begins our journey
together we strive new heights
momentum enshrine
with our love blessed
life delights

Life delights time
