Just a Friendly Reminder
I have sanitized my state of mind
With extra virgin turpentine;
I did it thrice
after losing count, twice...

Recreational Legalized
Recreational Legalized
While looking at TV we soon realized,
Recreational marijuana was legalized;
We never hesitated;
Like ours marinated;
And also, hope it had been sanitized.
If it was down and dirty marijuana,
We had received a dirty deal.

The Euthanized Pet
a sanitized death
no blood guts pain even sweat
that’s life said the vet
shaking his head with regret
poor dog wagged his tail ~ we wept

Our New Normal
Extract crimson hope, ruthless needles
Distract my dark thoughts, bleeding ink
Contact sanitized gloved sensations
Contract, as cancerous demons shrink
Dew pretty mornings carry fever
Blue icepacks chase lush, littered heat
Too many germs lurk everywhere - our
New normal household, bittersweet

In Cahoots
tremble
shake; tremors make men
out of boys-
reality out of toys.
thrown back head
in cahoots- the dead-
the monster (fed).
cold, frozen
feelings,
kneeling in fabricated
faith;
destruction, demolition,
taste buds silenced
by satisfaction
of such-
touched by divinity,
insanity, sanitized
of truths--------

Sin Was My Fish
Sin Was My Fish
Written: by Miracle Man
September 14, 2020
No longer I desired to live life carefree,
and from my great fish’s belly God rescued me.
He redeemed me that day and I was made whole,
He had washed me clean and sanitized my soul.
That Born again encounter I won't forget,
and fifty years later I have no regret.

Progeny
Some years ago,
having more than I needed
and time on my hands,
I deposited funds from
one side of the country
to the other.
Private, closet sized rooms,
sanitized for my protection,
visual stimulations upon request.
Today my progeny are everywhere,
and not once in all those years
so much as a father's day card
from the ungrateful little rug-rats....

One With Nature
One direction to go, to find
The way to become one with nature
In ways that you can’t imagine
You find nature right under your butt
And it’s sickening, disgusting
To know what just happened, I’m leaving
Going to places with toilets
And I’ll be completely sanitized
No more being one with nature
My direction will be a bathroom

There Are No Circles
There are no circles
in life...yet, history
does seem to repeat itself,
entering in and out the
same doors of experience—
though each house swept clean
they are never
fully sanitized.
We are lineal
(my apologies to Einstein)--
past can be viewed, analyzed
but when observed becomes
a new reality: for nothing is
what we see, and more
the example
of who we are…....

Wish It Made Sense But
Rendezvous renaissance respects Rembrandt’s recollection
I ignore illustrious ingenuity integrated in intelligent ignorance
Jupiter’s juxtaposition jumbles jiggly jamboree’s juices
Collective creativity colorfully collects catnip corridors
But does it make sense? To part of me yes.
The rest of me is waiting for a sanitized explanation.
Unfortunately, the same personalities do not return a second time....

Vermin Decamp
Rats and cockroaches
have moved to the country.
The city is overrun with unsanitary humans,
it needs a clean cloth to thrive upon,
not the dishcloth grime
of much degraded minds.
It is a disgrace, a black mark
upon an already uncivil civilization,
however, the rats and cockroaches
are vacationing and will not return
to the metropolis
until the trash in the streets
is sanitized of mankind's
indifference and lack of interest....

Awareness
There was a pithy art on velvety rock.
The turban was flying
churning out the outrage.
No sanitized verse was needed
to explain xenophobia.
We were white tigers.
Lurking behind the moon
was a lute, with broken strings.
A sluice opens the grief of sky.
Show me your palm with full
of curses. Where do you want
to leave the prints of death ?
Alphabets were counting the
steps, towards non-center. The
boundaries were collapsing.

A Bluebird Passing
If the world were to kill me
please mourn
I was conjured with all good intention
by a loving earth
but the world is full of murderous things
in the sun and the sea
and my sanitized plate may be poisoned
by a surviving microbe
or residual pesticide
the world might jerk
and grind me in its jaw
or some ‘fluenza, from far away
may drop in my lap
and give me sepsis
while I pause to appreciate the beauty
of a bluebird passing
against the sky....

Dachau
Dachau
The train rails are gone, the processing center an exhibition. The barracks scrubbed.
The hanging loops in The shower rooms removed, racks and whipping tables clean and displayed. The execution wall & Blood Ditch grown over, trimmed and landscaped.
“Shower” rooms with gas jets are sealed. The three-person ovens impervious to the scorn.
Ash dumps and mass graves covered, and monuments marked.
Hell has been sanitized for public viewing......
