He was a chicken thief now and then.
Until he met a beautiful twin.
Pretended he’d changed.

Creation
The air will be warm, like body heat
The Sun will set and the Moon will rise
Ideas expanding, controversy extinguishing

A reformed landscape
In which to walk
Made from within
My own image

America will be great said the man
Starting with a reduced income tax plan
Nothing but a huge joke
He is just a dumb bloke
His reformed tax break I am not a fan

Liftoff
Phrases string together,
letters front to back

Birds of the same feather,
in each other’s tracks

Marching toward transcendence,
words reformed and strong

Flocking into unison
—flying into song

Premium Member Mano a Mano Rhyme
A poet who lived out in Anaheim
Tried his hand at mano a mano rhyme.
His phrasing: sublime;
Words turn on a dime,
But he misunderstood the paradigm.
If you don’t have time,
Then don’t do the crime.
He’s reformed now, and he’s back in his prime....

On Satan's Grave
Between the lines
You read my story
The pain I felt
You washed in glory
New letters rose
The words reformed
As Angel’s marched
With time forlorn
On Satan’s grave
A vesper bell
Salvation rings
 —all lies in hell

(Philadelphia Pennsylvania: June, 2014)...

Healthcare Reformed
After his sentence of four to serve
Will we be better for having known you?

A trillion point four is a whole heap
More than this mind can compute
Prison or healthcare
Weighing in the balance

Do we really want to make laws that make criminals out of our citizens for money
issues?...

Gunshot of Autonomy
Caged up in the brain’s shackles of lust and lies
Rags of despair disillusion and utter reformed thoughts hang
Puddles of thick perverse actions gather and stain crimson
For he is a mirage of false hope cascading over your senses
Then final reiteration of the branded instant’s ultimate sound....

Metal World
They took all my metal parts.

Which they said were dangerous.

And handed me a crayon.

Convicts, get to work!

Write away your lives.

And leave them here.

So you will all be reformed!

They commanded.

They demanded.

Until we were trained.

To act without urgency....

Thunder To Rain
No time set aside
The words reformed
Again at their own pace

No place to reside
They’re written down
On a napkin or empty space

When I try to hide
They find me sure
In mountain or in plain

As new moments chide
The past adieu
  —and thunder turns to rain

(Villanova Pennsylvania: March, 2015)...

Trump Truly Has Tendency
What incorrigible means is not able to
be corrected, improved, or reformed.

Trump Truly Has Tendency

Trump does have tendency to be deplorable,
And at same time is also terribly incorrigible;
Bad news bearer;
Been holy terror,
Always thinks he is preferable and adorable.

Premium Member Made It To the Rainbow Trail
Pete was not optimistic about making it to heaven
He had done things he was not proud of, he was as sinner
in his elderly years, he had reformed
but he still had not expected to get to the Rainbow Trail
When he died, he found himself there, however.
He asked "How did I make it?"
St. Peter said it was thanks to his love for his horse...

Conformity For Acceptance
George was to us The Deformed
And his bones The Malformed …
Then, to our rules he conformed,
After he was duly informed
And by us pointedly reformed
And-Lo!-George stooped looking deformed
Nor were his bones still malformed
For overnight, new ones had formed!

Just through his Conformity for Acceptance,
In him stifling Tiger of Resistance....

Seen Our Mission
Through the heart a vision
Took care to nourish
So you may flourish
Took on the storms
Love reformed
Through depth of the ocean
Our devotion
Strength through dispansion
Our heart expansion
Opened the doors
God implores
Nothing may close
It is time we rose
Took on the change
He brought the reigns
God love surrounds
We searched he found...

My Time
I should feel that this is my time
To pen reformed and juvenile rhyme
Before it envelops the bliss of slumber
That is the incurable fate of all that live.
I must set aflame in a blossoming ember
Every wick that flames may kiss,
Knowing that it's coming a time
When he might rule that master of crime,
The evil one who shivers at the approach of bliss....

Cellophane wrappers tossed aside
Street worn
Dark tide.

Dashiki dressed strode in pride
Street worn
Dark tide.

Refuse strewn …side laced
Street waste
Dark tide.

Dirty white, short height, left faced;
Street waste
Light tide.

Blighted boughs, deformed, reformed
Street waste
Light tide.

Diverse, rich cream, seamed………
Street dreamed
New tide....

Trying To Undo
The days I didn’t know about hope can never be undone.

But now I know her as closely as I used to know depression.

Those old hopeless days become more embarrassing as time goes on.

When I believed that the harmful habits that used to protect me-

Would protect me forever.

Although those days cannot be undone-

Maybe those memories can be reformed....

Activity #17
Man created her,
And man destroyed her.
Now mother nature is taking over.
The wind shuffles the bones.
The tree branches reform her.
She is made anew.
She will walk among men.
Doing what must be done,
Righting what was wrong,
And doing what no others will do.
She was once human,
But now she is not.
Reformed from what was once dead,
And she can never be stopped......

Raining Bullets & Blood
I suggest,
You leave while you can,
This city is filled to the brim,
Everyone wants to win,
When they lose themselves-
In the end,
The city,
It is infested,
Criminals roam every walk;
Non-reformed,
Never charged,
Or plagued with repetition,
One day,
A bullet will stray,
If I stay,
It might be me,
You see,
In Philadelphia,
It rains bullets,
Bullets and blood....

A Blinding Refrain
Tuning letters like strings
the words are reformed
The rhyme and the meter
the rhythm reborn

Each vowel and each consonant
together in line
No commas or periods
to block or confine

The meaning inherent
and left unexplained
restated once over
a blinding refrain

To put in the file
the future in bold
the verses in couplets
—the reading on hold

(Dreamsleep: May, 2022)...

December
December resonates throughout the earth
Echoing the advent, the holy birth, of a
Child long ago with frankincense, myrrh and gold, He
Embraced a life of charity and sacrifice, if all be told
Miracles he performed; many lives He has reformed
Blessed is the season and the spirit which has
Engaged the whole world in a conspiracy of love, as we
Remember that child born to save the souls of everyone...

Recess
It's the lonely kid
Reformed, rebirth
Reborn... But I am not the chosen son
Not even the favorite boy!
Like oh why...!
Oh oh why...!

Writing weird lines again,
Writing weird lines!

Playing on-on
Kindergarten so so so!
boring without toys,
So it's swings and slides,
Mates sharing sandwiches
And girls shouting yew boys...!
Welcome to recess,
Where every kid has a break
Hehehe...!...
