Courageously devours
Large quantities of

Making no big deal of

The annual migration to the beach
The manatees are basking in the sun
Be sure to pack large quantities of bleach
The eyes will need a rinse before you’re done

from granite hillsides is just
keeping limited mishaps near
observed palladium quantities,
reacting swiftly to utility vehicles

The Envious Peach and Her Demise

The envious peach tree watched the nut
produce great quantities
so she resolved to do the same
“no one out does me.”
When the harvest came
her children did abound
which caused her roots to snap
and broke her to the ground.

Thanksgiving

Let's bow our heads and pray
Today's Thanksgiving day.

Poor old turkey got the axe
Bet he wished he'd never been hatched.

Turkey, mashed potatoes, yams
Consume mass quantities but never ham.

Eat too much and pop your zipper
"Hey Honey, where's the Alka Seltzer"?

Whoever sings the song, the singer can never be wrong. He is describing your qualities. Those that are in great quantities. Just select the voice. Any of them are a good choice. In three minutes or less, each one describes your loveliness. The entertainer is a star when he sings “All The Things You Are”.

It's Turkey Time

Bow your head and pray
Today's Thanksgiving day.

Poor turkey felt the axe
Bet he's sorry he ever hatched.

Mashed potatoes, gravy, yams
Consume mass quantities (But never ham)

Eat real fast and clean your plate
Soon you'll have a tummy ache.

Belch and moan and pop your zipper
'Hey hon, where's the Alka Seltzer?'

When you witness that Humans have turned against each other Rebel against one's own self Antagonistic to all living things. Large quantities of firearms and ammunition on hand Missiles of the highest caliber That's enough to wipe out Earth several times over Forget about global peace any time soon.

Premium Member An Alcoholic

Many times you'll find me here
drinking mass quantities of beer
and then for a few dazed moments, my troubles disappear,
but for the days that follow after I suffer most severe
with massive headaches and the inability to think very clear,
so I then repeat the process and consume more beer.
This cycle has been going on year after year.

Recipe

Combine chicken and yogurt; garlic,
ginger, turmeric, cayenne. Saute mint
and mustard-seed till aromatic and seeds
begin to pop. This from memory,
the cookbook’s lost. You have to intuit
quantities, and what to slice, mince,
chop, or dice. Serve on basmati rice
with cilantro and condiments of choice.
Inhale, close your eyes, taste India.

Discovering the Deep

A vast ocean
our churning seas
sit within Earth's bowl
containing historical treasures
within murky depths
Secrets settled
still to be unveiled
Precious cargo's price untold
not known if would offset
the cost of any rescue or revelation
Untold scenes priceless
hold enormous quantities of life
scarred by the touch
and interference of our modern world

Premium Member Trick Or Treat

There is fear
when the loss
perceived
greater…
my example
the ego
of youth;

not to be
measured
in quantities
but by frailties--
a small hole
can sink
a ship;

so early-on
we learn
and don armor,
make distances…
strength often
a tactic of the
weak;

God made us
of spirit
perfect and immortal…
yet, Trick-or-treat
we persist
in wearing
our dead.

Premium Member A Big Party At the Lake

Dug and Blake wanted to bake
For a party at the lake
They decided to make-
Cheesecake and cupcakes
A large order to fill with-
no mistakes
It was a big order to undertake

Blake made large quantities
of fishcakes
All coated with eggs and cornflakes
Dug also decided to take some steaks
Two choices for the meals for the lake
Then later dessert cupcakes and cheesecakes

At pasture's edge
the last Tansy*
sheds it's blossoms

Common tansy is also known as golden buttons and garden tansy. Common tansy was introduced from Europe into colonial North America in the 1600s as an ornamental plant and for medicinal uses. Ironically, common tansy contains alkaloids that are toxic to humans and livestock if consumed in large quantities. ~ravallirepublic.com

The Bibliophile's World

They abound in large quantities,
A plethora of them abound,
Different writers,
A hierarchy of them,
Different genres,
A variety of spices,
Different strokes for different folks,
They’re like stars adorning the night sky,
The books I have not read,
A vast of them exists,
The many worlds inside them,
 Waiting to be explored,
Waiting to be visited,
The trees that bore them died a good death.

The Grave

I stood by the grave as a gentle, summer rain began to fall...
I stood there; lost in my thoughts...Remembering... Reminiscing...
The increasing rain washed me from my trance, reminding me I was alive...
Death seems so easy and lazy as the living are forced to breathe in large quantities of reality...
I suppose being above ground has its advantages, but on occasion, I envy those that lie beneath us...

Premium Member Sounds I Remember

Why do you listen to echoes of shells strewn above your ears?

Those voices, once soft and loving, now bark churlish commands from ai drones, whirring subconscious tropes, retrievable by unseen

Puppet Masters; confident their mass of
Luminoids will sway like clouds of wind

Swept insects, inhaling vast quantities of
Ideas and movements of humans

             who

                      remember

Feeling of Whole

Surreal hallucinations wafted dense,
metaphysical quantities swirled fast,
normal vision opaqued beyond farthing,
neurons rallied electrically in maze,
storey up the ground was holy,
brain had distanced from the body,
dismembered body parts were as yet members,
to keep me whole,
brain still had the control,
mental activity sometimes catpulted in hyper,
body felt left behind,
but the whole felt super.

Aconitum Ferox Poison

It contains large quantities of the extremely toxic alkaloid pseudaconitine and is considered to be the most poisonous plant and one of the most poisonous in the world. In the past wolves and criminals were poisoned with an extract from the European wolfsbane Acontium Lycoctonum. The ideal poison for a homicide is odorless, tasteless, difficult to detect, and a bearer of symptoms similar to naturally occurring diseases..

The Seven Virtues

All one needs is the virtues pretty
They are just seven in my kitty

Grit, gratitude and curiosity
Optimism and zest being a beauty

Self-control and social intelligence
Are all that make it seven sheens

Let's have all the above virtue
For the personal success true

Besides betterment as a person
One gets all glory in ton

Therefore, I say to have these qualities
So as to gain success in quantities..!!

Straight

How straight the path I could enforce,
and straight the thought I might have course,
or straight quantities faked remorse,
then straight the entrance without force!

Yet straight the buckling of divorce,
still straight the line between two ports,
or straight the railing on the porch
but straight the shot ~ I can't endorse!

The curve ~ contingencies exhort,
is semi laden with export,
go one, with nature's true report,
as life unerring stays the source!

I Was the Truth

To worship God Shiva linga hundreds of kilo-liters of milk being wasted
Imagine how many hundred of proletarian child could have been served with nutritious food in such quantities of milk
for some days.
Please hang me as a heretic
Such as Copernicus who was killed by the fanatic
But know that I was
the truth.

(Shivratri is one of the ritual of the Hindus.
In this day lakhs of woman pour a lot of milk upon an idol called shivlinga in the temple)

Premium Member The Scarlet Nation

Black heavens
vermillion moon
Two sides stomp with cataclysmic fury
thirsty for a trophy
covered in blood
Flags ascend
boasting thick phantasm
At the sound of charge
guns fire
swords slice
and charges set off
Every lethal impact
destroys flood gates
coloring the ground in red pigment
in quantities of gallons
forming a nation
devoid of the concept of love
one by one
a mountain is formed
and that mountain
will be the capital
of the scarlet nation
