Trick Or Treat
There is fear
when the loss
perceived
greater…
my example
the ego
of youth;
not to be
measured
in quantities
but by frailties--
a small hole
can sink
a ship;
so early-on
we learn
and don armor,
make distances…
strength often
a tactic of the
weak;
God made us
of spirit
perfect and immortal…
yet, Trick-or-treat
we persist
in wearing
our dead.
