Manifest

Battling plastic faces veiled
behind charcoal framed prisons—
I breathe your ardent soul to
life in this bland world.

Prisons Are Not Made of Walls

Bricks and cement do not make walls for a prison
Only cruel minds and premeditation
Is it not murder?
Is it not fraud and theft that locks one in?

Commencement

Commencement frees the sprit within
  Lurking dormant beneath our skin
Sentenced to prisons they call school
  Liberation's rejoicing, spirit's fuel

When the Last Human Rules

When the last human rules
Humanity shall enjoy last liberty
Then come reign by science fiction
Humane calls will end
Iron fist will reign
Prisons will end

Castles and Prisons Seem Cold

Castles and prisons seem cold
High ceilings
Icy walls
Rules galore
Who would want to live there?
Not me.
Princess or prisoner.
I want neither role.
Castles and prisons seem cold.

Pledge

I pledge allegiance to to the flag
and the corporations
which it upholds
(and to the gmo's and burgers for which it stands)
One nation under corporatism,
indivisible,
with prisons and earphones for all.

Uplifting Art

   Inspiring music
     uplifting art
   riveting narratives
     challenging our beliefs

   Where are they
     in the schools of today
   tedious, drudge-work prisons
     where imagination wastes away

The Cruelest Prisons

Impenetrable fortresses built from stones of regret,
reinforced with concrete mistakes we can never forget.
Confined within these walls only your guilt shall dwell.
The cruelest prisons are the ones that we build for ourselves.

The Cruelest Prisons

Impenetrable fortresses built from stones made of regret
reenforced with the concrete of mistakes we can never forget.
Confined within these walls only your guilt here shall dwell.

The Cruelest Prisons

Impenetrable fortresses built from the many stones of regret,
re enforced with the concrete mistakes we can never forget.
Confined within these walls only your guilt shall dwell.

Orphans In The Bastille

All the pure thinkers
are slave to the Poet
Their theories self-serving
whose quotients divide

With ‘facts’ that convict them
to prisons constructed
From every transcendence
— their numbers can’t hide

Guilt

Impenetrable fortresses constructed with stones made from regret,
reinforced with the concrete mistakes one can never forget.
Confined within these walls only you and your guilt shall dwell.
The cruelest prisons are the ones that we build for ourselves.

Impenetrable Fortresses

Impenetrable fortresses constructed from stones made of regret,
reinforced with the concrete of mistakes we can't let go or forget.

Shooting Stars

In the nighttime sky
Fiery stars bleed
Casting aside what binds them
Freeing themselves
From distant prisons
Never to come back
Jumping from invisible woes
Platforms deteriorate
Free-falling forever
Into outcast oblivion
Taking in the atmosphere
To burn out
And disappear

Counting the Days

So greedy
taxing my taxes
sending me to prison
but can't feed me
 Never believing it's true
blind to the truth
until it happens to you
Trying to find out whats right
alone my struggles for life
 Building more prisons
less schools
nobody seems to listen
We are under attack

A Minichu on the Dilemma of Analgesia and Weapons

Words are cures and killers.
Each flick of tongue or wrist, there lies a decision,
Twin pillars:

Heal and maim.
Will you build new dawns or prisons?
Self-same

You, them:
Applied visions,
Prey?

Words are cures and killers
Will you build new dawns or prisons?
Pray?

#7: POETRY

Words falter voice
A certain finesse
Words declare poise
In silent witness

You are poetry
My lover dear
Psalm of beauty
Yes now and here

In a mad spree
The truth speaks well
Love prisons me
Free in my cell

There Is No Problem

There is no problem with overcrowded prisons
Don’t worry
All the jails are overcrowded
You have to make a reservation
These days
Go for one more traffic violation
Indulge in your crimes
Bring a cushion
When it is your turn
And the waiting is over
When all the prisoners stare at you
You know you are at home

Shipwrecked in a sea of Delusions

Love
Not felt, nor seen
Lost….
Forgotten, lost to the waves
Waves of hurt, bobbing away
Locked, in prisons of their own making
Cut off from the shore
Shores not seen a while, marooned
Till the rocks of culpability, to break
To open a heart, shipwrecked
Shipwrecked in a sea of delusions
Shipwrecked in a sea of angst

Give Them Life

Give them life,
another chance,
don't condemn,
try, and understand.
Addicts need help,
someone who cares,
don't put them away,
they need love, and prayers.
Prisons are for criminals,
the murderers, and such,
addiction needs rehab,
a place that can do much.
Many Judges,
in our courts today,
realize intervention,
saves.
