Castles and Prisons Seem Cold

Castles and prisons seem cold High ceilings Icy walls Rules galore Who would want to live there? Not me. Princess or prisoner. I want neither role. Castles and prisons seem cold.

Princess or prisoners is not something I care to be. I like doing my own thing. Yet I love seeing the old castles and can imagine how live used to be. Good one. Gives me more to think about. Lol.

I think both places feel the same; I will never forget visiting Alcatraz Prison, where I felt the same kind of shivers a castle gives me.

I've always wanted to see Europe and ancestral castles; they are such good fodder for stories. Cold indeed but, just crammed with, "what if's..." Well done.

There are "what ifs" there for sure. But can you sit on a plane that long? Pretending not to care about your 145 seatmates?

I really like the way you wrote this, with the repeating line. And I agree they do seem cold. Watching "The Crown" on Netflix--seems that castles can be prisons for the princess. Nice write :)

They both seem equally stark, bleak, and cold to me.
