Notes About The Poem

The Cruelest Prisons

Impenetrable fortresses built from the many stones of regret,
re enforced with the concrete mistakes we can never forget.
Confined within these walls only your guilt shall dwell.
The cruelest prisons are the ones that we build for ourselves.

Its amazing how in few words you’ve convey such profound and meaningful truths! The worst of all the prisons is one we build for ourselves, couldnt have said that any better and i love the wordplay here which fits the theme here so well and the picture goes very well with your soul hitting poem; pleasure reading this.
