morning when flowers awoke...
springtime explosion.
Crimson juice poured unto it
Cheddar toppings dripped
Scent of spice with veggie meat
Cooked slow, garnish neat

Rain, a rainy day again
In that scorched land
Passions have burnt it.
What is keeping it alive?
Rain, an those rainy days
Poured down from our eyes.
Pouring sunlight from the bowl of night
My eyes were misty, my hands like love.
I poured it all, I could not stop it;
Day ran splashing over my feet.
As the year was ending
A rain came washing through,
From opened chutes it poured
and flowed
And from the wetness new
A different sameness starts.
I sent you a love letter
Poured out my heart to you,
But I should have known better,
You laughed...and said adieu!
