Nothing on the plan
A comfortable couch to lie on
A big bowl of buttered popcorn
An interesting Netflix movie on
What else do you want?
Spring buds like
Popcorn bursting along
The knee-high grass of glade green
While winds over oceans blow free
On the face of the empire sun
Pop, crackle and snap
Pop goes the popcorn
Crackle goes the fire
Snap goes the mercury
~ Winter's gunfire
you guess
Thump, thump, thump., thump, thump
Flat.
Pop,pop,pop,pop,
Popcorn
WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, Weeeeeeeeeeee, plump.
You guess.
Bacon
Corncob lay basking in the sun
Sunbathing and having such fun
But it got so hot
His nib-lets were shot -
Popping off the flies, when done
Handful of joy and laughter
Down to the cracker jacks surprise toy
