Members of the legion, warming up
Cold weather of the region, blowing up
Advocacies permeated and rolled with dice
Democracies under water, frozen like ice...

Love Is My New Drug
Love is
my new drug
it
seeped inside
my blood
and
permeated
my lungs
now
I'm all
thumbs
and
can't feel
my tounge
Should
I be
catching doves
or
running through
the slums
alit
and all abuzz?

Interrogation
I am being interrogated about the void.

But the void is not complete without me.

Each day, being permeated again.

With a whisper that drags me.

With the strong grip of a lonely shadow.

I am not complete without the void....

Lavender Beauties
Nature’s beauty,
Purple bounty,
Mother’s favourite,
They elevated her dampened spirit,
She communed with them,
They bordered her helm,
Their fragrance permeated our home,
They were permuted in the shape of a dome.

Tribute To Connie Marcum Wong
She called me a friend even though we were ocean apart,
Her words were beautifully and skillfully crafted,
Genuine love permeated her chamber,
She loved the fragrant blossom of spring,
Autumn called her home.

Premium Member She Could Face Anything Now
aquamarine thoughts painted her thinking
her steps were slow today, but sure
seagulls gave her an appreciation for all that had been
all the goodness she could become permeated her senses
she walked toward her forever after destiny
understanding she could face anything now...

Basically
Basically

First
they spoke in guarded tones as it arrived
it came unheralded by drama or intensity
filled the corners of the room
permeated all reality and stood apart
in just the silence of its own
it cannot be unknown

it is enough that anyone
may go to number one

Forgiveness
Her scent permeated the air
Wafting through his nostrils
His motions paralysed
Let the waters flow under the bridge
His mind proposed
Its easy to err and divine to forgive
He embraced her once more
Planted a kiss on her forehead
Only a memory he was playing with
Hoping her soul to redeem....

Dreams and Nightmares
Such wonderful dreams I’ve had
And terrible nightmares so bad
Each having permeated my Soul
A spiritual message board beyond my control

They put me on a razor’s edge
As a personal silk screened pledge
Emblazoned across my chest
To ponder and interpret at my bequest.

Premium Member Ambience of the Day
A flavorous scent
Permeated today
A fruity smell
That brought in full play.

A feeling of mirth.
A sprinkle of joy.
A grandma who knows
The love of a boy.

Anticipating
A wonderful day.
I began to dance.
My troubles away.

A flavorous scent.
Permeated the day.
A fruity smell
That brought in full play....

A Poetic Tale
For many years they had exchanged passionate looks, as if a pair of lovers.
Suddenly, she plucked up courage and said:
- I love you!
An eerie silence permeated the air, and the world stood still for a few moments.
- I have always loved you!
And their lips touched, materializing the dreams of kisses so much desired......

Life's Support
Amid life’s troubles and perplexities,
Worry has no hold on him,
Amid roaring and turbulent seas,
He sails undaunted,
On a journey permeated by horrifying darkness,
He walks unperturbed,
Though fear stealthily creeps in,
It doesn’t have an abode,
It takes no seat,
He has his eyes on the future,
Hope is his pillar....

Hear the Body Talk
Vaccinated by gramophone...

Permeated by vinyl...

Penetrated by disc...

...influenced by wireless...

...resonate with requiem...

... reminiscent past echoed future...

...not an allergy...a sensitivity....

...To hear the body talk...

...Behind the doors of repercussion...

...Consequences wait...

...To hear the body talk......

The Pub
A room permeated by the pleasant buzz
Of laughter and conversation
Jokes and triumphs, future plans
Sorrow and elation

Scents of food and beer and wine
Mingle with the sounds
Of voices and mellow music
Drifting all around

The warmth of the large dark room
Giving verve and form
To dreams and visions spoken aloud
Waiting to transform...

The Burnished God
Once the burnished God awoke
He saw naught but confusion veiling his eyes,
A mistiness thick and real
permeated the iris like obsidian or steel,
Till saw they no more.

Frantic! They run, fly, rub at their eye,
But blindness still.

How faint now the Universe seems to be without sight,
And the God lay back to sleep,
Slightly more sagacious now....

Premium Member Oak Tree Magic
Oak tree works her natural magic
Doing her utmost best to spread joy
Attempting to keep peace in the forest
Oozing goodness through her root system

The woods feel oak tree’s compassion and concern
Gleaning her unconditional love from their roots
Intertangled and aware, they begin to feel beloved
Oak tree’s powerful message has permeated their souls....

Dreams Glowing Brightly
Dreams wed forever partied in the park.
Hope's voice permeated life's freshest air.
Beloved friends, there rejoiced at love's spark.
The wedding guests adorned in formal wear.
Enjoying snacks and drinking way past dark
Oh sweet nostalgia, come again, so fair.
Beneath night-lights held tight by romance.
Couples glowing brightly, spinning…thoughts dance....

Premium Member The Motel Room
The motel room
It was on fire last night
45 outside
Burning fierce within
The heat
The passion
It permeated
I thought I could contain it
But it spread to me
The aircon working overtime
But still the fire burnt ferociously
Was waiting for alarms to sound
Red trucks to show up
Knocking on the door
To say
Shut up
The motel room
It was on fire last night...

Oak Tree Blues
October tumbled into November
And brown leaves
Wilted, damp and derelict
Loafed idly beneath trees
That stretched naked
Amongst the rich
Sweet floral,
Of the winter Jasmine.

Oak trees cried
 Slow tears
Of brown and orange,
That permeated
A scent of watery fruit
And lavender -
- Dreaming of spring,
And prodding the
Neighbouring birch trees
With cumbersome boughs
Like an errant brother....

Premium Member Our Planet Could Sing
Wouldn't it be great if the air we breathed was pure and all man kind had enough and no body was poor?
Wouldn't it be fine if our hearts all understood and we learned to love each other and seek out only good?
Wouldn't it be great if we knew peace on earth and if that peace permeated every home and hearth?
Wouldn't it be sweet if our planet could sing to the universe of it's peace with in?...

Premium Member November Chill
Rain gently fell upon the snow
the white crisp flakes slowly melted
under the warmer droplets
grass that had turned brown
restored to some of it's former green
while the wet leaves clung
onto the bottom of the shoe
the dull grey skies hung low
making it feel like a dreary day
the cold November chill
permeated through the bones
only a prequel to the harshness
of the upcoming winter season...

Premium Member Afternoon At Pink Lake
We come in peace
To walk the trek
In reverence and humility
In solitude we reconcile
The calm that feeds
A soothing silence
By osmosis permeated
We realign our inner clocks
Healed by the pulse of harmony
Kindred heartbeat of the land
Subtle drumming of the universe
