Death of the Future
Years to grow a pear tree
Groom it
Water it

Dreams of sending it to college
Rites of passage
First Dates
Learning to drive

Pop the question

But the pear tree dries up and dies
No seedlings to prove that it was mine...

Pair In a Pear Tree
robins swoosh around
up and down the pear tree stands
gails blew pollen dusts

robins left the tree
fearing a storm will blow hard
the pear tree was sad

a new pair dropped by
finches revel with raindrops
pear tree smiled, birds soothed...

Pear Tree
there you stand in my garden
looking at us all
waving with the wind
protecting us all
giving us food each year
staring at the the garden
the top of the garden is where you rest
providing a home for others to lie
there you stand
the protector
the hero
the pear tree...

A Chinese Fishing Net
Death hangs
on the poles
at our bank.
A Chinese
fishing net
sinks down
with baits
to lure into
the fate.
Doom lurks
between the
darkness and
the blue.
Joys dry in the
breathless net
at dawn. As
care snoozes,
snare catches.

Fruit Trees.

I have a little pear tree, plum and apple too.
When the fruit has ripened
I'll share it all with you.
You can bake them,
Boil them
be careful not to spoil them.
Maybe you could make pots of jam.
I know you'll never waste them,
when you come to taste them
and declare, perfect just like my mam....

Premium Member Blossoms Fall
As the blossoms upon the star magnolia
Begin to fall, those blueberries now enter full bloom
The pear tree has some white blossoms
Peeking through tender green leaves doomed

Nor the volunteer butterbeans that came up
Since the warm spring weather showed ...

Fairytale Child
I was a fairytale child raised in a concrete family always too emotional always too sensitive always lost somewhere in my own imagination trying to love, and be loved trying to be something I was not meant to be like a singular apple growing on a pear tree "Pull your head out of the clouds" they would say to me they never understood I was exactly who I was supposed to be.

Sweat
Sweat and the sea are salty
and alike.

A lazy man and a corpse
never sweat.

Mountaineers mount up the
slithery mounts.
Resistance yields, dissolving
in sweat.
Seeds sprout in the fallen beads,
life-drops.

Success floats in sweat, depositing
fresh joys.

Each victory in the history sparkles
through sweat.

Qualifications
A horses head can carry many beads. Triathlons are usually in triangular formations. It is wise to get hold of a prickly pear tree with a small spoon. And spear not a daffodil in a morning dew. Sunsets speaks specialty sonnets. And when a dinner is ready it is to be assumed that amusement can be created from a sauce. Lengths swam on football pitches hahahaha xxx a hiccup in a tea cup. How very quaint. Xxx hahaha qualifications xxxx...

Date Syrup
Dark as departure
and sweet
as reunion, it’s a
romantic
syrup resembling
an expat’s
life. A sublime
state of
sweetness like a
wife’s wait.

It’s forbidden to
a diabetic
patient, but who
commits an
ecstatic sin, violating.
Rapture of
now is in a negative
impulse.

The expat squeezes
dry desert
for sweet syrup.
One sip
tempts into another.

Premium Member A Ewe and Her Two Small Lambs
Early spring field and scattered daffodils,
Framed in by the ethereal green hills.

Sun sweet warmth falls behind and tries to gain
As gray clouds drift, a calming sprinkling rain.

Under the dappled shade of the tall free
Laden with rich white blooms Bradford pear tree

A wooly ewe milking her small lambs, lie
Contently tucked resting until clear sky.

Baa-baa, scamper, and leap among the field
Awaiting time as mama made them yield.
