Siamese Twins

Siamese twin pears 'pon the pear tree
Soaking up autumn's sun
Soon their time to cling will be gone
Frost will touch rose and be done

Love the brevity, Sara. You managed to convey so much in so few words; I admire that quality in a poet. Enjoyed this very much; kudos :)

Yes but the rose while it lived gave pleasure to the eyes, and warmed the heart as this poem did so unto mine. thank you for sharing this beauty with me. Also yes anne story was sad and it has always touched me, that's why I had to write about it.
