lighthearted
rain
what
pitter-patters
in
your
heart
and
let
the
lighthearted rain
splash
upon
those
cloudy dreams
rain pitter patters
flowers open umbrellas
butterflies fliitting
painted parasol
shade luminous dainty dreams
seed of love is sown
The rain pitter patters
Your name
Falling like tears
On everything!
The first rainfall after my "then" husband's death from cancer at age 34...
rain pitter-patters 'pon
umbrella which turns
the hottest noon-day sun....
soft sand, gentle waves
pamper small aching feet
Pow! the pale powder pumps power into
The pastor’s panicked pulse. Peeing his pants,
He pulls his parcel and pitter-patters
To the piss-pot, paying his penile penance.
Stoned and thrilled I stared
Sweet lady mime I’m speechless.
A match made in Paradis?
Snapshots I kept near
Equal heartbeats in sync pound.
Ear-piercing pitter patters
Window; and a portal.
Strikingly magical.
The year's changeful skied and aired
Of one day's revolving.
Disorientated yet?
Amusingly I bet!
All those patters, colours askew.
Once so viewed a hand in .
a full moon is out
lilacs dance with sighing breeze
tall tree silhouettes
the lake is glassy
in the beauty of beyond
so still and peaceful
I hear the night birds
as my heart pitter patters
red mars is in sight
As the rain pitter-patters against my ivory window sill,
I reminisce upon the fond moments we used to count stardust-
All at once I am taken afloat to our forever gone love.

it's the golden hour
young duck swimming afternoon
hard rain patters down
the sun yet shines on
duck revelry in late bath
green river frolic
drought endured so long
but blooms and smiles are coming
I've had days like this
on tip of a wisp
as it bevels and bloats
streamlined scribbles etching a note
upturned waves collapsing
in cotton bobs
greys and embers mating a mistake
ethereal tendril veins knitting patters undone
phoenix fogs missed mist
of almost pink
Old testament..New testament, the same
Patters appear among the priests people
and leaders, Isaiah chapter 30 v 10
is anything new under the sun.?
I see authenticity, of the same
People group acts, today
As proof of spirtual
Ancestry.?
Inhales prosaic air
muse probes breeze
Filtering depth
as image melees
Drum snares the heart
beating out dull pain
Osmosing spores
form finely tuned rain
Patters tap source
concept ignites
Erupts into thought
exhales and writes
The rain pitter patters off the tin roof
Like little mice scurrying the dirt looking for a meal
It lulls me to sleep, into a peaceful slumber
I am awakened soon by booming thunder
Like the rush of a bull attempting to gore his matador
Oh the crazy animals in my nature!
The rain patters down
Sending goose bumps across flesh
My blue lips are numb
Her azure eyes shine
Like crystals catching the sun
Even in this rain
My hide is soaked
It is on the line for her
The cold bite goes numb
Drawn in my jacket
Her eyes beaming at me
Blue eyed paradise.
Raindrops fall from the sky
From day to day by and by
It pitter patters on a window
While almost like a spindle
It looks like teardrops
That haven't been forgot
Some are big drops
Some are small drops
Each in it's own way
When the days are gray
The Raindrops fall day and day
Raindrops on the roof, muted patters
Nature’s symphony in tune with the wind
Its soft music soothes the tired heart
And eases the stress of worldly matters

Collum Haiku...
mosquito hums loudly
disturbing night's peaceful long nap....
quiet, thunder rolls
lightning splits sky
rain pours in pitter patters....
ratcha shakes, terrified
Ratcha- Chihuahua and rat terrier mix- a now recognized breed of dog

whispers early october
soft conversation
patters asphalt

people running
lights streak skies
shadows of clouds
late afternoon passage

Mother Gaia, she nurtures me.
Through my emotions she brings comfort.
She is as loving as she is wild and free.
Even when hurting. Fighting war and disease.
Rain patters upon my window.
She makes me cosy.
I am one with my soul.
My feet grounded to her earth and now I know.
I AM. I AM. I AM.
Pregnant sky labors in misty cloud
Tenants of earth awaits the bath of life
Warrant is issued to eastern wind
Stagnant is earth and man's thrive
Rain now patters in Noah's days fashion
Vein shivers as cold infiltrates man
Pain enslave the worried thought and soul
Champagne is the savior of man
For Rick Praise's lento contest
A veil of clouds
ghosts the front lawn
and soft fall of rain
patters—
the passage of summer.
Leaves cling
onto branches-
and in reflection
I wonder
how long
before they
drift to the ground.
My ears ring
while I listen
to the song
of nothingness
and I gaze
out the window-
where a aging side street
lies broken.
Strike!
The bright light goes,
- and then silence.
Strike!
My heart quickens,
Then silence
- a lull in the storm.
The rain patters,
The sheep baaa,
and all almost seems well…
Strike!
My heart rate quickens.
Strike!
Memories of sheet lightening across the sky!
Strike! -fear!
Strike! -shame!
Strike! -loss!
Strike!
natures playground gleams against a setting of loveliness
cumulous sky clouds dip low, invading air space of sage bald eagle
buffalo, moose and elk bring silence to the mountains
silver cottonwood trees shrug their shoulders at this glorious canvas
humankind is unwelcome, so they can keep it ethereal
puma patters forth, silently intimidating the rest of the creatures
