Music To My Ears

Raindrops on the roof, muted patters
Nature’s symphony in tune with the wind
Its soft music soothes the tired heart
And eases the stress of worldly matters

Something about the quality of water, isn't there? So soothing, as you aptly write. Blessings, Gershon

Thank you for the stop by, Barbara. I have several short poems on the patter of rain. One I like to a cat's paw hitting a window to come in from the rain. I enjoy rain most in summer when it's needed and the refreshing odor it leaves in the air. Best to you. / M

I'm with you on that unless it is a tin roof with British rain! Aloha! Rico

Very well said, BeeGee. I too love the patter of rain on the roof - but no hail please which is too prevalent around here! Glad the 7 Things I Would Save in a House Fire gave you a smile. Only good on you and Happy Valentine Day - Bob
