My Animals

The rain pitter patters off the tin roof
Like little mice scurrying the dirt looking for a meal
It lulls me to sleep, into a peaceful slumber
I am awakened soon by booming thunder
Like the rush of a bull attempting to gore his matador
Oh the crazy animals in my nature!

I was looking at your comments below here and I liked the word Carol chose for this one: Innovative. Yes,indeed, if it is for that animal contest, this is quite innovative! Thanks for reading Son of a Preacher Man. LUv, Andrea
