Premium Member Healing Leaves

Leaves are red in hue. The daylight healers scattered, on the whole body.

Premium Member Wings For the Soul

Poetry gives wings to the soul
Like music, it's meant to extol

Though betimes its place, to console
Inspirational it is, on the whole

Temples

Temples

Slightly open are my
temples. Mosquitoes need a
place to
rest. On the whole drinking or
bathing in
mosquito piss isn’t an
unpleasant or
a wrong thing
to do. It cures
diarrhoea.

The Oneness In Me

I am the me

I am everything
on everyone,
everyone on everything

I am everywhere,
Oneness grips me on the whole cosmos
and I am the universe

I am more than my thinking

drowning in you

this feels so natural, still, my heart is pounding -

that look in your eyes...
    I feel like I'm sinking
    I feel like I'm floating

drowning in your blazing image,
maybe I'm not too keen
on the whole breathing thing
after all.
maybe I'll just drink up
the entire sea.

Premium Member On a Roll

Some dogs are disasters,
ignoring their masters;
she’s simply not that type.
Though she gets on a roll,
she’s quite good on the whole,
so I rather hate to gripe.
My one little issue:
she likes to eat tissue,
a form of internal wipe.

Shadows

Tenacious fires
race like astral
acid through
some mutant
fusion
in the brain.

Till all you've
seen has become
one and shows
itself again.

But skillfully
she climbs the
structured
stairway of
your soul.

And don't forget
that dark regret
can spill a shadow
on the whole of
your subconscious.

"Traveling to cities door to door,
red mud huts with dirt floors,
trying to give but they don't want anymore;
not if it involves war.
What is it then, which I am fighting for?
Drawing first blood for a cause misunderstood
is no good,
on the whole;
you can't defeat those fighting for their soul."

A Prat To Witness

I live by the mouth
quick wit is my bullet
the trigger no doubt
my impulses pull it

You could say on the hole
it does me no good
but I haven’t control
would stop if I could

The day my mouth runs witless
I’ll stand a prat to witness

Premium Member I, myself, and me, and me, myself, and I

I, myself, and me,
we comprise the royal we.
I makes most decisions,
while me or myself makes the needed revisions
to ensure we three
don’t unwittingly disagree.

Me, myself, and I,
we're a well-integrated guy.
On the whole,
we're a tripartite soul
stuck together till the day we three die.

In the Wilderness

This! my home?
Greedy me on the whole

Like an oak fern, I blossom
When all is gone I _ lonesome

The trees, hence not green
It's leaves dare not grin

Just me and my wildbeast
To fill in the back seat

Just me and my thoughts(left/right)
To Cary the weight and bear the loss

A blind man can tell
"in the wilderness" I have built a nest

Premium Member Doctors Aren’t Perfect

It’s hard to believe but true:
doctors do make mistakes;
but on the whole they’re few.
And yet it demonstrates
what we should all expect,
that doctors aren’t perfect.
As for your surgeon’s removal
of what he mistook as a double
tumor growing in the area
of your groin, your falsetto
whining sounds like a soprano
practicing a new aria.

Rolling With the Punches

Sometimes things work out exactly
How you’d hoped they would,
With plans and people meeting up
In just the way they should.

However, that is not the norm
And, though you may prepare,
A perfect execution of
A plan is pretty rare.

Though rolling with the punches is
Not easy, on the whole,
It might be best when circumstances
Slip from your control.

Going Down

I don't endorse 'going with flow' for of course you never know if the current will funnel you down the drain the tubes or flume through the tunnel toward the spume to where you end up in the sewer below so as I'm in no rush to gush or feel completely flushed here and now I do avow for me the bowl on the whole is a non-starter a definite no-go

It's Christmas

IT’S CHRISTMAS!

Jingle, jingle rings all the bells,

Sounding the season roping jolliness;

With gifts traveling to distant places,

And joy running the realm of existence.

There’s high celebration dancing ecstatically in the air;

Showers of goodly hilarity blessing our sphere.

On the whole, it’s nice to have great fun;

Not forgetting the One who gave His only son.

Merry Christmas everyone!

The Kind Hearted Vampire

THE KIND HEARTED VAMPIRE

A vampire once pledged to abstain
From his normal beverage in vein
Virgins’ white necks full waiving
He sated his craving
Gathering taxes, although less humane

He worked hard and his skill he refined
But his conscience troubled his mind
So returned to the virgins
Didn’t need too much urgin
On the whole it was not so unkind

So Late To Return a Smile

I looked for a smiling face on the whole earth,
One day I saw a little girl looking through a window,
she smiled at me,
What else could be so alluring to me than that smile,
I was about to return her smile,
All on a sudden a tempestuous wind was blown
And shut the window on her face,
A sadness deepened around me,
I muttered my apology to dear little girl
for being so late to return her smile.

Me and my friend, we had a tea party, She poured a cup, our laughs rang out hearty, Flowers in our hair and frills in our frocks, Red blush on our cheeks and curls in our locks, A big slice of the cake that mom had made, We ate, shared our stories and drank and played, We smiled big smiles, and had fun without rest, On the whole, our tea party was the best.

Displaced Loved One

A troubled youth gone for a year
Far from his family’s allure
For reasons that are still unclear
yet behooving that is for sure.
We hope his stay is suitable
for one so very young as he.
meager details but on the whole
we’re hoping with no guarantees.
A year may not seem long for some
But it is an eternity
For the foursome waiting at home
All anxious and downheartedly.
The shared grief is overbearing
Plucking at our fragile heartstrings.

Premium Member Hostage

At 6 am, the beach is nice;
And I am headed for a stroll.
At 7, sun is poking out,
I guess I’m still glad on the whole.
I turn around and head back home;
The half-way thoughts somewhat console.
By 8 am, the sun is hot;
I’m drenched with sweat from head to toe,
But I can see the house ahead,
A few blocks down, not far to go.
Once back inside, the A/C on,
The waiting game has now begun
For I will likely hide away
until the day has ditched the sun.
