Shadows

Tenacious fires
race like astral
acid through
some mutant
fusion
in the brain.

Till all you've
seen has become
one and shows
itself again.

But skillfully
she climbs the
structured
stairway of
your soul.

And don't forget
that dark regret
can spill a shadow
on the whole of
your subconscious.
