About a Stutter
If someone stutters that you meet
Just think of it like it's a treat
You might extol
It's a drum roll
Keeping you on the edge of your seat!...

Questions
While i am sitting here,
At the edge of my seat,
I think and wonder,
Why is the future so bleak?

Is it necessary,
to go through all of this pain?
Is it worth it,
To sit with the one in the rain?

Can you love,
With being tormented?
If so,
Do you wish it ended?...

Premium Member Fun Can Relax
Fun can be frenzied
   Fun can relax
Fun's sometimes exciting
   Other times kicked back

Five seconds left
   Team's up by one
On the edge of your seat --
   Adrenaline-fueled fun

A day at the beach
   Sun, surf and swim
No rush, nothing hurried
   ~ Fun's lazy whim...

Premium Member Hoping They Will Try Something
Warlike streams of rage flow through me.
I am primed and ready for whatever else they have in mind.
On the edge of my seat, waiting.
Hoping they will try something.
Picturing myself leaping on their shoulders
And biting off their ears.
Praying they will show back up.
We are all probably lucky that they do not....

o' that famous final scene
hanging at the edge of your seat
blood dripping.
perhaps a murder
perhaps a heart twinned love song

I see your silhouette
where shadows dance un-rehearsed
if only to linger without fear
your silkin skin
perfect lips
oh dear how the passion falls endless tantalizing and un-proclaimed...

Premium Member In My Eyes She's a Winner
Sue was gracious in her defeat, as the judge’s results were read out. We’d all sat on the edge of our seat, Sue was gracious in her defeat. I’d have said words I dare not repeat ... she’d been robbed, of that there’s no doubt! Sue was gracious in her defeat, as the judge’s results were read out. JUDD TRUMP

I don’t think snooker will ever be the same.
Now that Judd Trump is playing the game.
Fast and furious is he.
No time to even make a cup of tea.
Seventeen days ago we had not heard of him.
Tonight we thought he was going to win.
He kept us on the edge of our seat.
Thought he was going to be impossible to beat.
But then John Higgings had it in the bag.
He won the game for his Dad....

Premium Member To the Death of Fun
I laughed until i cried
it hurt my ribs so
my lungs were begging for air
my eyes red stained, tear streaked cheeks
and my nose leaked a flow of snot

I laughed until i cried
all his jokes
full of laughs
I didn't want to miss a second
i sat full stomach
in my seat
on the edge of my seat
and then it happened
I peed my pants
running to the ladies room
leaving all the laughter
It was the death of fun!...

Psycho Mind
She makes no sense to me, but the way she speaks has me on the edge of my seat.
She hit this heart of mine faster then a heart attack an quicker then a shark attack.
An here I stand, craving her an that sinful love we could create.
Hell is where I'll go if I keep wanting her like this, but I cant help it when she looks so good.
She's a drug that I cant stop taking when wanting her has me in the psycho mind set....

If you are at a crossroad, try the church with that name.
Sinners and saints are all glad that they came.
You can feel God’s presence in this southern place,
And friends come each week to bask in His grace.

With voices like angels, each week the choir sings,
To prepare for the sermon the preacher will bring.
Sharing the good word, he keeps you on the edge of your seat.
Hearing the gospel has never been such a treat!...

No Need To Read This Poem
there is no need
to read this poem
it doesn't have
a lot going on

in no way does it
dive in deep
or keep you on
the edge of your seat

nor lends itself to
a sultry tune
where it speaks of
life's doom and gloom

this poem will not
start a blaze
with anything
it has to say

it's not here
to make you think
you'll forget it all
by the time you leave

this poem you really
need not read
because this poem
doesn't say anything...

Premium Member World Cup 2018
I had never seen a world cup game, until now.
Unexpectedly, it came about somehow.
Exciting it was, on the edge of my seat... through.
I Found myself talking to the TV too!
Go! Go! Go with it! Clapping, as my dog barked.
So much fun, a new interest had sparked!
I saw the end, France came through on top.
At this point, I didn’t even want it to stop.
I celebrated their win and now I shout,
Another 4 years? What’s that about?

Never What It Is
Life never is what it seems to be,
Or as easy as most see,
Traveling down a Treacherous road,
Nowhere to run and nowhere to go,
All I am is scarred wanting and waiting,
To move forward to change the route,
That I’m on To fly by the night,
At the edge of my seat,
To feel life as it should be,
With excitement,
And exhilaration,
With love And hope,
To feel all the wonders of life,
To break away From fear and hate,
To find my fate and so that things may,
Fall into place....
