Hoping They Will Try Something

Warlike streams of rage flow through me. I am primed and ready for whatever else they have in mind. On the edge of my seat, waiting. Hoping they will try something. Picturing myself leaping on their shoulders And biting off their ears. Praying they will show back up. We are all probably lucky that they do not.
