Never What It Is

Life never is what it seems to be, Or as easy as most see, Traveling down a Treacherous road, Nowhere to run and nowhere to go, All I am is scarred wanting and waiting, To move forward to change the route, That I’m on To fly by the night, At the edge of my seat, To feel life as it should be, With excitement, And exhilaration, With love And hope, To feel all the wonders of life, To break away From fear and hate, To find my fate and so that things may, Fall into place.
