Rich Relative Nuptials

This wedding is hard-labor duty
(All the guests are acting so SNOOTY!)
A whole lotta' bunk!
Guess I'll get drunk
And pinch that thar bridesmaid's stiff booty...

Fidelite'

Divorce not an option,
vows to remain

The altar enmired,
betrothal reclaimed

Children all lettered,
their offspring to spin

My nuptials enduring
—faithful within

Her wedding present was, adios my dear

True Love

Affection begets caring devotion.
Enlivening faithful, generous, helpfulness.
Inexplicable joyfulness keenly liberates.
Merriment, nuptials, opulent passions –
Quenching, revering, satisfying, tenderly.
Ultimately venerates,
‘Wakens Xanadu, youthfully, zealously.

Himalayan Nuptials

Better to reach for something
and miss
than to hold back playing it safe

Destiny in the intention
and choice
hesitance falling from grace

Better to be adopted
by truth in flight
than the orphan of a lie

Where words and music marry as one
on the highest mountain
—you climb

Habitation

Clear days of old,
Antebellum.
Not too fancy,
Mediocre.
Bright color seen
Perfect warm nest.
Young harmony
Child fairyland

Secondary,
Tall pine in back.
Conspicuous,
lone pompous rose
Toxic ivy
Marigold patch
Null pottery
Stream overflow
Taste pure water

Ordain infant
Adore always
Wife trustworthy
True nuptials
Man unyeilding

-future Nuptials-

Your hand holding my hand

Your eyes locked into mine

Our lips slightly wet from our kisses

Your body singing my bodies song

Your heart beating in time with mine

Our minds thinking our same thought

Your mouth speaking my words

Your mine and I'll forever be yours

For Lorena & Carlos, 2008. May you have a happy long lasting marriage.

Living Life

Behaviour begets the way we are
Naughty nuptials enhance life's joys
Bringing major manifestation to ones soul
To live life with love and devotion
Endearing oneself only to enjoyment
Forgetting false thoughts of immorality
Living life as a lover, friend,
Behaving, badly not worthy of a thought
Living, life well has its memorable memories

Fabulous Fun Footles - Nuptials

On time
Sublime

My beau
Hel-lo!

Guests smile
No guile

Church hall
Too small

Tikes play
Then sway

So hot
Must stop

Slow-mo
I know

Kid hurls*
Hits girls

Bride’s dress
A mess

Aaww, hell
The smell!

Wiped down
Don’t frown

Do you...?
I do!

* hurls = vomits

Silver Jubilee

Celtic courtship ended
nineteen eighty-two.
Marriage nuptials blended
"us" from me and you.

Seaside lovers heading
to the Irish Sea
showcase Christmas wedding,
silver jubilee.

Touring without hassle -
Isle of Man’s ferry,
Dublin, Blarney Castle,
Cobh Cork, and Kerry.

Guinness, china, mincemeat
pricey souvenirs;
homespun sweaters compete
lamb’s wool profiteers.

Nature

Nature

Name me an ardent disciple to polygamy
For falling head over heels with botany.
Would you compel me to pipe an apology
For my nuptials with beauty of zoology?

Mine is an irreconcilable and sweet plethora
Which has deeply dipped my heart in flora
For, I simmer in Nature’s rippling sauna
From where sprang Earth’s teeming fauna!

Jealous Guard with inescapable capture....
I love you sweet Suitor, I love you Nature!

A Drinking Man

Each night she left him bleary -
his mind foaming in a glass
of Guiness.

Disappointments wore her life thin,
nuptials picked to a fugue and dinge,
by his thick-tongued spiel.

“I can change him.”
Nothing changed.

Long she withered and waned.
Friends doled out sympathy
like spreadable butter,
yet her bread was dry.
Long she withered.

Daily she wiped
a vinyl calico tabletop
wet with spilled beer
and self-pity.

She got a second job.

Engagement

Engagement

Excitement and surprise consumes,
Souls unite with love and devotion.
A precious gem stands before you,
Twinkling, flawless.

Enthusiasm uncontrollable,
Happiness shared eagerly.
An unforgettable moment in time,
We've only just begun.

Joyful as Swarovski crystals,
Diamond envy transparently visible.
Obscure crystalline carbon,
The carrots rot.

Betroved regret less,
Hot coals simmer and scorch.
Sunrise, sunset,
Nuptials commence.

Cardinal Had His Eye On Crow

Cardinal had his eye on the crow
But she said, “not cardinal, not ever, whoa!”
Crow had her eye on Wren who was sweet.
Wren never pigged out, did not overeat.

Cardinal was kind of a hog you see.
Flying down first from every tree.
The second birdseed was put out.
Before other birds could give a shout.

At their wedding Cardinal did not attend.
Pouting about it to the absolute end.
They did not miss him, guests had a blast.
And their nuptials were solid, they did last.

Impending Nuptials

I cannot bear to entertain
Thoughts veiled in white, wearing a train
Trimmed in lace and love-adorned
Pretty, pristine, and so I scorn
Thoughts that flicker, quenched again
By the eternal chill within the space
Between, and washes clean the slate;
Bringing at last to a hush, and nearly too late,
A voice to which we all incline
Our seldom happy hearts and ever mournful minds
Which spreads sinful seeds upon withering winds that sear
And birth a most powerful emotion- fear.

Moonlight

Moonlight

Embracing close climbing Rose
A silver suitor to propose
 Marriage in the moonlight.

Rose now wears his sparkling ring
Gazing, enchanted, beautiful bling –
 Diamonds of moonbeams.

Stars of night – groomsmen ascendants
Primrose, Jasmine – attendants
 Bouquets of moonflowers.

Invitations, the first dance,
Cake of moonpies, per chance,
 Auntie Luna’s moonshine?

Evening wedding seems the plan –
Garden nuptials close at hand –
 Vows caressed by moonglow.
