Took an hike where the Saints had trod

Giving Indian
Joe the lightning bear
Put on his nike air.
Ran he did, as fast he can,
Through the forest, of his ancestry land.
Frantic Joe didn't know where to go,
It's not his fault he didn't know....

Our long walk,down into suffering,
head lifted high,up into glory

along a narrow way in His footsteps
sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise

Running Shoes / Alfredo's Hideaway
wilfredo, wilfredo
now i tell you what I know
a puma is a big cat
a nike is an obsolete missile
and adidas was an ancient
Greek God, in love with himself
and for sure, shoes
don't run, people do,
and if you haven't tried
the mummy steak,
you're really missing out!!!LOL/...

Motivation
finding reasons
to why you should keep going

finding meanings
to make all this worthwhile

finding yourself
does this actually makes you happy

like nike
just do it

like loreal paris
because you’re worth it

taglines
motivation
I think I lack some
and I still yet to find one...

Stop Look Listen!

This Emergency is Dire

I've Perched myself on a Telephone Wire

Crowds have gathered below

I'm starting to Perspire

I do not want Money or to Be known as Sire

All I Ask to soothe my Psyche

Is a simple pair of sneakers with a swoosh

And the letters spelled N-I-K-E...

Boy told mom name brand he wanted to wear
Gucci, Tommy Hilfiger, Nike air
They are all the fashion rage.
When you earn a hefty wage
Wal-Mart breeches and shirt is what we'll spare.

Anger
Anger

Anger makes the mind narrow
Anger is not key
Get rid of anger sitting 5 minutes having tea
Music is what keeps your anger calm
your lips are dry use lip balm

Anger makes you weak
peace I what I can seek
click click the bomb ticks

Anger chases friends
but I'm rolling Nike brands
My poems are my peace
Anger is what I ignore
but do not adore...

Odes, my feared love,
lost among the ocean's,
in repair by lonely poseidon,
I enyy you,
I want a friend,
to say anything you like,
confidence,
o my lover,
Eros,
helper of the unfortunate like me,
no one wants to share,
how I wish,
so many occasions gone in a wish of eolo wind,
despair,
poetry helps,
so far away such as nike,
in this darkness,
where are you...

Neon Pink
Tennis players once wore white –
A snobby rule, I think –
But how that’s changed! I guess that’s why
Here’s Federer in pink.

In truth, the pink is just a trim
To jazz his shirt and shorts.
His sneakers, though, might be a slight
Distraction on the courts.

I’m all for chic diversity
When tennis is in town,
But Roger, here is my advice –
Tell Nike – tone it down!...

Grace of a Goddess
Is she Artemis when she shoots, going back to her roots? Or Aphrodite when men fall without shoots, or benevolent Athena when she steps on the field, prepared for war in her boots. Unequaled and unchallenged, dominance assure with Nike carrying her on wings victory, a born winner without a spinner; chance is not her inner. She is Alex Morgan, original and free; All the things women strive to be....

Sneakered
In Air Jorden’s he strode proud,
with name-brands he stood
apart.

In closets
sneakers walked
not far from their boxes.

Heel to toe stock grew

Well known on eBay,
to barter, trade and pay
he paved the way

Fake stuff,
imitations led to
litigation
financial gloom.

Nike rued the day
his wife
put down her foot
gave him what for,

then ran away

in cut-price
              footwear....

Isabelle
What’s your name Isabelle
with long flowing brown hair
and skin so fair
yellow dress billowing
in the wind
flat-soled Nike
shoes
sitting
reading the news
with a look of
sorrow and despair
the land of the free
has punished your already
tired eyes
and smoking your cigarettes
you punish the skies
in return
the clouds rain disease
and bring an already famine
Earth
closer to it’s knees
in prayer
to a God that never
seems to answer...

Premium Member Where Did the Time Go Blues

Why do you ask, do you think time has
           an appointment?
This inane question, oh~ I need a strong
           head ointment!

Time wears no jogging outfit nor Nike
           running shoes.
It’s just you getting older, humming the
time goes by so fast, blues!

My Red Converse and You
When I am gone from this world
I will leave you in my will
my size eight pair of red Converse high tops
for you to keep and wear in memory of me
along with the black ones and pink ones
residing in my closet too
you always love when I wear them
with my blue jeans, green t-shirt and Nike socks
every time we take a stroll together on the beachfront
creating enormous footprints in the sand
and when I am beating you in games
of one on one basketball on the park...

Premium Member Daddy and His Mini Me
At the doctor’s office
I spend time observing the others
They have no idea I am doing it
For I am staring at my phone, instead of them
Taking sneak peek glances.
no one sees me anyway.
At seventy-one-years-young I am invisible now
a daddy walks in carrying his three-year-old son
they are wearing similar attire
blue shirts, kaki cargo cutoff shorts, Nike flip flops
Child sings a dah-dah song in a joyful way.
They got called to see the doctor.
I see they run the same way too....
