My Red Converse and You
When I am gone from this world
I will leave you in my will
my size eight pair of red Converse high tops
for you to keep and wear in memory of me
along with the black ones and pink ones
residing in my closet too
you always love when I wear them
with my blue jeans, green t-shirt and Nike socks
every time we take a stroll together on the beachfront
creating enormous footprints in the sand
and when I am beating you in games
of one on one basketball on the park
