Nike rued the day his wife put down her foot gave him what for, then ran away in cut-price footwear.

And so it is.... This reminds me of a poem I wrote once about a child who did not get something he wanted for Christmas and couldn't understand why his daddy got a new Harley...or something like that. It's been a while. I liked your poem a lot, Eric.
