Babbling Farm
When magpies' crackle joins the song
Another answers from below--
That neighing horse completes the verse
Until loud winds hush gossip's row.

In Flight
Colossal raced the churning waves

Neighing loudly, tossed mane

dripping

Enticing Desire to frolic

Their matched white coats mottled

Sea sprayed

Premium Member Grandpa's Prayer Chair
Grandpa’s chair still there

though stables are empty now

ghostly echoes of neighing

still hear Gramps praying

“Please, Lord, let me keep my farm”

blessings bestowed on our clan

a truth we wish to share
of caress divine sublime
surging forth from within

Take Me To a Lover
My heart
Swung between two clouds
My face
Fell above a bunch of thorns
My ears
Ran behind the neighing of love
My steps
Fell down on the brink of death
My arms
Opened to the light of heaven
My eyelids
Closed on the sadness
And my chest
Narrowed on the pulse of my heart

Oh God for now
Take me to a lover knows how to love!...

Neighing of the
Midnight brumbies
Foal and sand
At hoof
The call of water
Brings them in
Between crystal and moonlit hills
The fire is out
Black as
Midnights brumbies
Neighing down by the water hole
Among many
An antique camp
Dreaming camp
Ancient camp
The water
Brought
Them here
To lay near
The water hole
And the neighing
Midnight brumbies...

For the Love of Spring
Flowers blossoming in the air
scent of freshness everywhere
Tiger lillies flowing in the breeze
even though they make me sneeze
Cool, Crisp water flowing freely
Mountain breezes blowing extremely
through the valley of Easter to come
Love flows freely in the wind
the power of romance will unbend
Angels singing in the sky
Horses neighing in the nigh
The Easter Bunny is on the run...

Premium Member In My Dreams
In my dreams I am outrunning horses
They strive to catch up, whinnying and neighing
I laugh; my hair is streaming so hard in their faces.
I am now the wind, catching them up in an exuberant way
I fling them onto a mountain top with other horses, free and wild.
They nod their approval, knowing I will send a helicopter full of oats and hay.
Even though I fear horses, I wish them well.
Even in my dreams....

Premium Member Suave Piano Jerry and the Singer
Suave Piano Jerry was playing away on piano keys.
Along came a singer, as sassy as you please.
She plopped down on piano and said I will sing with you.
Her notes were flat, as for melody, she had no clue.

I can be your valentine and follow you from town to town.
Okay agreed Piano Jerry, but for now, please get down.
He wrote out a schedule, which was bogus of course.
For the singer’s voice was worse than a neighing horse....

Alternative
The horses are irregularly neighing,
They’re fallen out by tired saddles,
Their wings tore off
And run like sinners.

The next day, in the morning,
Were growing trees instead of wings,
And the veins were quietly laughing,
While losing their way among the teeth.

Yet, the horses don’t worry
‘Cause angels died a night before,
And doctor said “Instead of stumps I’ll make
A transplant of wings of lunatics”....

Premium Member Lure of Spring
Spring rain
Flings like seeds at my window
	In the dawn, Awakening

Auburn horses neighing from the barn

While Gold Finches are scarred lemons
Half-ripe
Filling a bush, Singing

Release me

Leaves of trees budding
Clenched baby fists holding away the cold
Lime glow

Its own light mint

A man walks with pail and pole to the river
For the little fish that shiver
In the last splashes of silver coins

Casting a lure of first light....

Drowning Horse
A neighing through wind-swirled waves.
Frozen hooves branch,
a neck cranked tight in a crossbow of fear,
a horse being swept away!

No! I miss-saw...
just a chunk of tree in the white running water,
A momentary delusion,
yet alarm took flight,
became a moth gone crazy
on the light of my skin.

Not a drowning horse -
not what I perceived there
in a quick moment of terror.

Yet for an instant,
my mind threw a saddle
over what was never there....

Premium Member Becoming Gas
beyond reasonable doubts
behind rabid regrets
beneath a bleeding world
below bombing cyclones
between raging atmospheric rivers

I slide around in a pit of digital snakes
I track my disintegrating limbs
I observe flashing lights rushing to disasters
I ruminate over lost causes
I persevere without purpose

the End is neighing
the horses are noisy
the noise is hoarse
the sky is raging
the rage skyrockets

This too shall pass
This too shall become gas...

Premium Member Me To But Only If Its Colored Blue
Trump's little tramp came out of the woodwork
and was treated like royalty-so was Kavanaugh's.
Suddenly the little donkeys turned into lathered up thoroughbreds.
Racing up and down the d.c track
neighing... "always believe a woman...me to"

Clinton and Biden's battered harem came forward...
and were treated like lying whores.
Nothing but lonely chirps from the democrickets…

believe a woman …. me to but only if its colored blue...

chirp......chirp...……………..chirp...

They Shoot Horses, Don'T They
To tame a horse in freezing winter

One plays a childish "hide and seek"

Caress its mane with future spring

and kiss the hazel moist with love.

Distract its pain with sandy gallops

Along the turquoise dreams of freedom

And while you heal the reddish wound

Recount the legend of the horse with wings.

There won't be saddles only clouds

That sometimes shed rainbows of tears

As darkness falls on killing fields

My soul is neighing as echoes cry......

Premium Member The Mare and the Stallion
A joyous scene
As he leads the herd
Trotting, kicking
His voice being heard

But this big boy
The leader he is not
It's the herds mare
All regal and hot

She determines their path
Where they feed and rest
Also when in danger
Showing safety zest

The dominant Stallion
Guards the herd
Always on the peripheral
Neighing his words

This relationship of two
In equine rule
Commanding in their role
In partnership dual

Fluttering Souls
Flutter
                               Look up I see
                      Their souls flittering past
Down here smell carnage, hear clink, slash
neighing a warning, another one falls
Crunch of bone- stampeding to death
                      Screams of dying horses
                           Take me from here
                                     Flutter
