What Makes Me Tick Contest

I like to chuckle, laugh or smile,
As being glum just aint my style.

Made For Me

you're my style
lets talk awhile
love your smile
you got a love child
around you too
i feel so free

MADE FOR ME

The Twist of Love

When i twist to the right i turn
When i twist to the left i return
Blows of love twist
I dance and feast
It's my style and turn

Challenge Pace of Race

Are really running a great race;
Trying to challenge your pace,
Can't wait;
Poem initiate,
With all of my style and grace.

Have Not Written Poem

Haven't written a poem in quite a while;
That is not normally or usually my style,
Must begin,
Writing again,
And maybe many more I must compile.

Premium Member Attic Salt

“Attic Salt” by definition means “refined incisive wit” Finally found a description for my style, I admit Not bragging or such Just adding my touch It's why I'm a sweetheart, now don't give me no lip

Premium Member Secret of Rhyming

A rhyming scheme defines my style
Where magic drips on quill’s potion,
If quintains and sonnets beguile
Hands pray for meter’s salvation,
This secret I keep, to win the throne!

Premium Member Kinda Political Today

Been kinda political lately, that's sure not my style But some things outrage me, so I'm standing in the aisle Yelling “stop this guff Had more than enough Need a break and common sense to prevail for a while!”

A Short Story

I had a good friend once
Who always looked for my smile
He’d ask why I’d be frowning
I said “I guess that’s just my style”
He asked me why, I said
"I've been walking for miles
On a lonely road
That’s kept me sad for a while.”

Premium Member Hiding Feelings Footles

My style
Big smile

In place
On face

My task
Wear mask

Hide fears
And tears

Feel down
Big frown

Must smile
A while

Have fun
In sun

Sunshine
Feel fine

Look great
Thanks mate!

Premium Member My Style

I've been writing poems
For nigh on Fifty Years
I've made people laugh
And brought them close to tears
But when asked, what's my style
This is all that I can say
According to 'The Soup'
It looks like it's N/A

Living

I thought for a while
Thought beyond my style
Thought about one person
Ended up cursing
But its alright
Hind sight
Remembering the flight
So I thought some more
Unlike before
Wishing I wasn't mad
Started laughing getting glad
And living

Winning Plea

To blow my own trumpet is just not my style
But could you please place me on top of the pile?
My inbox is bulging with NAs galore
I'm begging you, Bobby, don't give me one more!

Premium Member Laughter

sometimes when I'm wiggling
I get carried away and lose my self-control
start giggling

it is my style
to bring laughter as I cajole
a smile

there's worth
found in a soul
mirth

sometimes when I'm wiggling
to bring laughter as I cajole
mirth

Volatile

I'm a dangerous man

I'm volatile,

    I blow things up,

that's just my style.

  I'm dynamite,

I'm TNT,

I'm your

nitroglycerine

remedy.

put me under your tongue

and then hold on,

I'm gonna blast you outta your

comfort
zone!

Romance Me

In your eyes I see a valley of hearts
Holding your hand and seeing you smile
Being in your arms is where the nights passion starts
You could buy me flowers and candy but that just lasts a while
Finishing my sentence and laughing in sync is more my style

Chocolate like Me

When you look me in my eyes
Does my color raise a brown?
I believe it's maybe my style and sophistication
Which makes you wonder how
I walk with my head held up
Pride embedded in my soul.
I am indeed a black girl to be reckon with
I am a black girl in control!
