My Style

I've been writing poems
For nigh on Fifty Years
I've made people laugh
And brought them close to tears
But when asked, what's my style
This is all that I can say
According to 'The Soup'
It looks like it's N/A

Loved this humorous write. N/A is my style too. That's what I almost always get. But it's writing with your heart that really matters. I love humor and enjoyed this write. Will read more of your work.

awww, crap, that is kind of sad!!! but I think we all feel that way when we see the N/A's in our member area. I was getting my fair share when I started out here. But I think being here a long time, you start to "read" the judges and know what they want from you in their contests. From what I have seen of you so far, you will do well with judges that enjoy humor, for sure!!! I need to read more of your stuff . You have so much experience now in life, it has to reflect in your poetry! Good poem

Thank you Andrea, N/A's are to be expected , since I write outside the rules. What I like about the contest, is that it presents a challenge and an inspiration for that challenge and like true artist, I challenge myself. I love your work, and you have earned where you are.
