Vain Illusion
Laying bleeding my insanity
Choking in a pool of my vanity
Blinded by my pride and couldn't see
Cracking the mirror doesn't change reality...

Insanity
My self inflicted sanity,
has caused me more pain,
than the unwillingness of my insanity
to set me free.
trapped in a soulless world,
i wonder endlessly forever....

Raining On My Insanity
You faded too soon
Gone to the moon
A holiday for you
Now what am I to do
Gone to the moon
Lost without you
Now what am I to do
A frosted complexion
Lost without you
A holiday for you
A frosted complexion
You faded too soon...

Care
Please stop acting like You care about me I can't deal with the lies That fuel my insanity I can hear the voices in your head ‘You're so weird!’ One blurts I know you think you're helping me But, in all honesty, it hurts

Unforgotten Love
Across the country, I’ve lost my sense; I sit and count the days. The days I have not perceived your say. I’m gone in a haze recollecting your mysterious gaze, am I crazy to say I keep falling in this passageway; your love is enchanting my insanity. I add up the days, when will our love go away?

Silence!
Im lost.
Im tired.
Expired.
Oh but wait a while,
let me come back
Let me stack
up that truth
the one you didn't want them to know,
you know..
the one you didn't want them to hear
That spear
you drove...
into my soul.
jagged truth
pain beyond endurance
your insurance
which kept me there.
In my insanity!
Quiet!...

Better Off Dead
Would I be better off dead?
I can't live this way anymore
Thoughts are rushing through my head
This void consumes me to the core

Would I be better off dead?
Am I a burdensome failure?
Madness tears at my weary head
Will I see the light? I'm not sure

Would I be better off dead?
I'm losing grip on sanity
God, help you look to You instead
Bring sense to my insanity...

That Crazy Window Ledge
You say I'm crazy to
Hold onto love or recognition
But my insanity insists on
Wearing you like a decoration
There's a weary window ledge
Once held a set of footprints
Emblazoned with some bleak knowledge
Of hopeless resignation
A thought or two to lift me up
I'm thinking
You're not the end of the story
Merely one short chapter
That's all that keeps me off that
Ledge...

Cheap Wine
Sitting in my bed drinking cheap wine all the time
sitting in my bed drinking cheap wine
I know I should be sleeping but I just cant bring myself to close my eyes
sitting in the dark with some cheap wine wasting time
not sure if this living or am I dying someone give me a sign
dont know if this is me or maybe its just my inner self destroying my insanity
sitting in my bed all alone
drinking cheap wine...

Turning a New Leaf
I've opened yet another door....

Door knobs breaking and my heart aching-
my vanity faking- all I endure.
A new leaf has turned, for adoration I've yearned
but for my insanity there's just no cure.
                  The door I opened reveals
how everyone I know feels...

Leave me alone in this new life I feel is so brief-
Now I'm just a woman turning a new leaf...

Dysphoria
Have you ever woken up asking "whats the point"
Tired of daily life
Desperate for a change
Music doesn't seem to please anymore
Nights when sleep seems tiresome
Days that seem to never end
I just need a switch
Not necessarily something major
People's questions hit my ear drums exasperatedly
I have a dysphoric mood
Nothing seems to please me
Everything seems exhausting
People seem to be missing from my life
Just me and my insanity in this silent room...

Reading scary poems on poetry soup
Heard a sound unfamiliar too boot

Jumped up from the desk chair and there
In the kitchen the big mouth had legs rare

Just like the tin man in "The Wizard Of Oz"
It had legs that moved, arms, and wings that was

For a split second I thought I heard him sing
Calm, calm imagination gone wild no longer a child

This isn't a thing just an optical illusion
I really hated the intrusion (into my insanity)

(Couplet--Sorta)...

Insanity
Falling from reality,
Starting to lose my grip.
Trying to pull myself back up,
As I begin to slip.
Thinking now of the moment,
That drove me too this place.
The only thing I clearly see,
Is that expression on her face.
All that fear mixed with pain,
As she reached out for the gun.
I never tried to stop her,
Like I known I should have done.
Now, look at me,
Slipping off the edge.
Falling from humanity.
What will become of me?
Lost, alone in my insanity…...

The Light In the Dark
There’s a light in my heart
But you can’t see
It’s hidden by the dark
When I’m lost in the dark
I scream and cry out to see if anyone can hear
In that moment of fear
I’ve found I’ve lost it all
My insanity taking over me
Moment by moment
Will I ever find myself
In this Black abyss this dark nothingness
I hear a distant sound
I’ve been found
I was here all along
You were the light in the dark
And know I know where to start
Now that you’ve found my heart...

Reality: Nothing Is What It Seems To Be
Raindrops wash away your plea
Sunshine burns up all your need
     This is my insanity
This is what she's done to me

The crossing signs, you missed your turn
When you hurt before, you think you'd learn
The lies that starve your heart and mind
And so you believe this awful kind

The worst hurt is without psychical pain
Subdued by you when I see you again
This ever changing world we weave
Change is good, One day I'll believe...

The Wind and the Wild
my hair runs wild,
my thoughts went a little more,
with dreams in my eyes
the world a little below
 my insanity runs amok
while the cold wind blows

towards wilderness I am swept
maybe, beneath there is snow
not scared to stumble
for I have wings to show
wider and wider they are spread
higher and higher I go

Above the moors,
Neck to neck with mountains
Above is just a moon
No fumble no falter
No full stops ahead,
Left right center
Incessant infinity…...

Corruption of the Mental State
In the corruption of the mental state,
Everyone's body is packed in a crate.
Torn to pieces and thrown away,
No, this is part of everyday.

Shadows creeping closer,
Your eyes getting moister.
Don't try to cry,
You'll all eventually DIE.

In the corruption of my mind,
You all think I'm very kind.
It's a mistake to try and hurt me,
This is everything I wanted to be.

Rotting in my insanity,
Don't pull me out, let me be.
This is the best,
Better than all my rest....
