Insanity

Falling from reality, Starting to lose my grip. Trying to pull myself back up, As I begin to slip. Thinking now of the moment, That drove me too this place. The only thing I clearly see, Is that expression on her face. All that fear mixed with pain, As she reached out for the gun. I never tried to stop her, Like I known I should have done. Now, look at me, Slipping off the edge. Falling from humanity. What will become of me? Lost, alone in my insanity…
