Emotional pallet that we see
A troubled heart thinking of you
Yesterday’s longing a fiery red
Alone today, I’m simply blue…
Lying here at dawn
empty arms longing for you,
a new heart you've found.
Morning embraces nightfall,
true love has forsaken me.
Ring of heat around my neck
Blooming from his thirst moist lips
Eyes stay swallowed of his scent
And my mouth hungers your kiss
Together this moment my longing bliss
Oh to hold you in these loving arms, to see your crystal eyes
Time, it seems, loves to hold the longing heart, yet I will hold you still
In the setting of the night, we rise to kiss the dawn so bright
Built up to be broken down
That’s really how I feel..
I can’t believe it happened now
To me it can’t be real..
Beneath this rugged barrier
Lays a longing to be loved..
Although you may not be perfect
You’re the one I’m thinking of.
Was a beautiful evening...yes it was...when
I was with u...
Time flew past just like birds...when
I was with u...
Would be longing for that lovely evening...for years to come...
Don’t know when...but am sure...
I will be again with u...
Form:
A beautiful woman
who has the power to transform my soul;
sweet captivation,
breathless enchantment, I lose my control;
spells suspend reason,
a siren stare which I cannot withstand,
emboldened by love,
filled with such longing when I hold her hand!
A.re you real?
L.et me feel you.
I.llusions of longing is killing me.
R.eally what must I do?
A.llow me the chance to love you.
Y.ou will never meet a more sincere passionate man such as I!
E.cstacy from the slightest touch while looking into my eye!
There is a deep longing that gnaws at my heart,
The passions so wild for the joys of love;
How far is the charm my beauty my love,
And the touch of her form in the twilight glow;
Somewhere she is there and she yearns for me,
To calm her desires she haunts me now.
Forever
A child's forever
Limited by experience
Restrung like pearls...
Hoping my- forever
Ends with my quiet breath
And dies in the wind....
Cruel beyond measure
To find that infinite place
Still longing for you...
I cannot love you forever...
Form:
To the piper's gate
I rush headlong
With thoughts of fate
I sing along
Such beauty in his lilting
Such longing in his tune
So far over my heart is tilting
His voice my only boon
Such wonder in his words
A heady mix of passions fire
He can even charm the birds
The piper of my hearts desire
I find solace in your words
comfort from your voice
dismay when you are not here
and longing when you are
I seek you out
I breathe you in
you are my only
my only within
I know you won't fade away
you are promised
like the light of day
Compromising my heart
I'm giving it away
to you
My love
I trembled when I touched him
I drank his every kiss
His body right beside me
Is what I really miss.
The longing and the waiting
Of him to come to me
The harsh anticipating
Diving into his sea
Of love and all that’s present
I can reach out and feel
And knowing that he is waiting
To nuture and to shield.
Form:
Resonating within your lips,
Plain it was to see, a longing to kiss.
Physically sweet, it would be to taste,
I wonder, without haste would our lips waste,
No time to waltz in a kiss under the night.
As is nectar to the bee,
We are the moth to each other’s flames.
Never being able to resist ones electrifying,
Touch.
Ever this reaching,
this longing in our hearts,
this yearning we cannot fulfill;
He is ever teaching,
new life He imparts,
to those who are seeking His Will.
Known long before time,
One Hope for all men,
that we would be whole and made free;
Life paid for our crimes,
death came to an end
that dark day on Calvary’s tree.
MIdnight Hour
Close your eyes
Drifting in darkened skies
Roam that place of private dream and thought
A world that is all your own: a place that judges not
Here your free to love, the love for so long you fought
Witless longing ,far beyond your power
Release, let love flower
Midnight hour
For the Trois Par Huit contest.
Your fingers run through my hair,
I look back,
But you're not there.
Your name echos in my head,
Ringing, ringing, Loud, yet quiet.
I hear you breath,
But you're so far away. Longing to hear you say those words
That i love to hear you say.
I feel your fingers run through my hair,
I look at you
And close my eyes,
Never going to say goodbye.
Long left and long right
A head swings to and fro
Inside a waltz repeats a loop
Outside the world careless goes by
His foot swings like a pendulum
Banging on a skirting board
They might say
“It’s sad, he’s mad”
He might say
“I remember we danced, in a trance”
Longing left and longing right
His heart yearns for his love
That left that night
Form:
She deepens in wordless waves
like the summer she appeared
With wonder my eyes obsess,
in longing quick to caress
the cascade of soft beauty
that to the heart grows near.
A love where no love conceived
Smiles laced in shone surprise
To burn beneath her fingertips
and sift the song from luring lips
Held captive by a new dawn
that wakes within her eyes.
Form:
A four poster, linen sheets
Soft pillows gently greets
New perfume fills the air
Champagne there to share
Love walks these sheets tonight
Within the candles flickering light
Two bodies of love they are fated
Of passions fire shall be sated
Both to sleep each others eyes
Meld the skin in longing sighs
To pull the sheets and cover all
Side by side to sleep shall fall
Desire ignited on the dance floor
Encouraged by sweet tasting wine
Shyly sampled by longing lips
Testing the word on my tongue
Identity revealed in love's game
No longer accepting denial
Yet secrecy had to prevail
Fear beyond hope of revival
Outwardly love hid behind smiles
Uttering expected answers on cue
Normality became surreal torment
Duelling with blades of insanity.
As the sun chases moon
As sky meets the sea
As tides ebb and flow
My soul is bound to Thee
Through your arms when here
Through longing when you leave
Through tears in my eyes
My heart belongs to Thee
With all that I am
With all that I see
With my every breath
I pledge myself to Thee

“Span of time”
The moment when our first eyes meet I think Ill hold my breath
For hours gazing upon your face I long for nothing less
Days of wishing longing for the “one” who must love me
Weeks of wonder disbelief that you can really be
Years of loving you so deep, released for my dark prison
Eternity of passion rare that mends my hearts incision.

Never and forever
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I look to the past cause our futures denied me
All my dreams of smiles, riches and kisses
I guess I'm content inside
I'm only human, I guess its ok
To wish and hope for more
Just longing for something I'll never see
Like waves on a distant shore
Still you've become a love in my life
Although I've loved you never
You have taken your rightful place in my heart
And that will be yours forever.
Dear Eyes I’ve never met
I’m longing just to see
Are you the color of the jungle?
Or of a dark and mystic sea
Will you make me feel alive inside
Will you scatter all my fears?
Dear Eyes I’ve never met
I want so badly just to see
I’ve waited through some difficult nights
I’ve fought to keep myself free
So I could give you everything
Sweet Eyes I’ve never seen
I’m staying strong-I won’t give in
Until I hear ‘I do’
I’m waiting, waiting keeping still
For you and only you
