anecdotes and jokes
are a way to loosen up.
they change a person's
visage in moments to joy
or flashing consternation.
Awoke, rises from death,
A long journey embarks again;
Broke, loosen from faith,
Swiftly strike, no more bargain.
a clean break from the past
perhaps too much to ask
delicately loosen, never yank
rips and tears leave memoirs blank
Creepy crawlies loosen soil UNSUPPORTED CODE
the bark is dust and matter UNSUPPORTED CODE
good for all the earth UNSUPPORTED CODE
I am Despair.
I am the voice you hear demanding you step off that chair.
I am Hope.
I am the voice you hear when you loosen the noose of the rope.
soft dawn stirs my hidden heart
rain-light threads through waking trees
shadows loosen from my soul
truth lifts like a rising bird
.
thuh sum say
"loosen up"

"un zip"
cows stand in their beds
trod on grass loosen like springs
blades of grass enriched
cows fulfilled and contented
cows unfilled their content ... parts
Wind stirs the tall grass,
old seasons loosen their hold~
I breathe, unafraid.
God folds new light around me,
teaching my heart how to turn.
nothing like three glasses of wine
to loosen the tongue and
park inhibitions on the wayside
if only i had known
that's all it takes

edges loosen,
names unbutton themselves,
and every meaning wanders off~
a quiet migration
of once-certain things
into the softness of becoming
Love this vast planet of forever being
Loosen the mortar in your fortress wall
Sense what all our eyes are clearly seeing
Into oneness let loose spirit stones fall
And the radio silence is making me cipher my feelings
Into higher words beyond the expression of meanings,
Making me loosen my grip on reality through new thinkings.
C-ling to the tree bough,
D-o not loosen your good grip,
P-ray to God for help.

A Tall Tale
Dragons fly on by
Through the rye
Through the sky
So, so, so high
On top, a guy
Loosen the tie
It is my, he must die
A tale, a lie
A sigh,
My, oh my
A sticky hold like glue
Able to loosen up your grip
But, never completely breaking free
Don't want
Don't need
But cannot let you go
Like a magnet you pull me back to you
My faith will not be broken
My fate will not be erased
My dignity will not be loosen
My face will not be faded because
You will always be there with me on or after my success.
Humans
are choking the neck
right now.
They only need
to loosen
their grip
just a little.
But humans
cannot even
do that.
Because humans
have never
had it done
for them.
summertime storm restores the parched earth
whispers over broken places
teaches earth to breathe again
to loosen what was held
to open slowly
to receive light
to rise up
to be
new.
Mist gathers on the hollowed air,
a pale hush trembling toward dawn,
listening for the unseen.
Moon-threads loosen from the sky,
falling like quiet thought,
listening for the unseen.
roses wilt beneath late summer heat
petals loosen, unspoken truths
color thins to memory
edges curl, then fall-silent
small truth slips free
beauty learns to yield—gone
Break it off a bit
loosen the grip
On my sanity
somewhere in the back
Please detain the pain
let my cries signify
Not the same
un unhappy
Give me a glimpse of free
tell me
i
am
not me
Chimpanzees are very close to humans
Which is why we're so attracted to their noodles
They amuse us no-end
Into laughter, they send
As cute as can be, our funny bone they loosen
Traffic on a Saturday morning in the big city
Insanity describes it well or really quite shitty
There's mucho angst
Everyone's a crank
Each morning we need to take a loosen up pill
