A Better Earth

Love this vast planet of forever being
Loosen the mortar in your fortress wall
Sense what all our eyes are clearly seeing
Into oneness let loose spirit stones fall

I love the unifying spirit of your poem, Greg. A piece of thoughtful and metaphorical beauty. Your last line is especially inspiring. Best wishes for a win.. ~Susan P.S. now I’m off to view the original poem “The Nature Of We” :))

I love the metaphor of the "wall." If we don't "loosen our mortar," we remain isolated. It's only by taking down the wall that we can unite with others. Quite a compelling poem, Greg. Best wishes in the contest! Carolyn
