sycamore swaying-
rooks nesting high
midst the bursting buds-
stick by stick each gust unpicks
a patient labour of love
Cold Rain
clouds roll overhead;
face of Sky contort in pangs of labour
womb ruptures a deluge.

Be not a slave to Labour Day.
BBQ cook? No flippin' way.
Keep it all non-laborious –
Extolling sloth most glorious.
gut/brain axis
labour and taxes
bread bred to roll over
feds fed to rule over
you are what you eat
to tender and bleat
A thespian swallowing grapes
Said they tasted better than apes
Flo monkeyed around
And finally found
Candid Camera behind the drapes
Flora loved pretty flowers
She tended her garden for hours
Every day she would be
Planting flower or tree
Her fingers had magical powers
From something old
Comes something new
A different shade
More red than blue
From Old Labour
Borrowing
Good favour
And
A following
by Gail
Annually the garden
provides the results
of one’s labour--together
fresh vegies and fruit
a gift of heaven,
to you Lord
thanks

Labour for several days in June,
Dies after given birth to a baby ,
Rest in peace as you travel to the moon.

Fruits of our labour is in this tree
This one we all use to poop and pee
They ripen with time
Grow and taste devine
Poo-pee plums, humans scrump for their tea.
Gerry, a galoot from Burke,
Was a professional at doing the shirk,
No labour where he goed
No sweat ever flowed,
A genius at avoiding all work.
WRITING
when other souls
are conceiving
in their dreams
my breath
gives birth
at midnight
my soul
only knows
to labour
to push
to birth
alone

cheap labour
the foundation of
large income
slowly killing
the less privileged
enriching the opressor
whose? foundation
is never solid
without? the grives
from
cheap labour

Crows' feast
a good job, farmer
he prepares dinner for us
let's toast and eat it up!
Farmer's moan
they appear from nowhere
steal my seed mercilessly
fruitless my labour
By anxiety you're gone.
Heavy heart and battered soul,
You left with me .
My emotions craves for your endowed palms,
Moistured with relieving pills:
Let the lyrics repeat itself.

So
often
a poem
conceived by me
just
a
moment
before sleep,
a head to pen
leap-
just
hours old,
I bring you,
my dear hearts to
view,
my
labours,
exclusive
and original and
new
Labour* sweat drops
Pursuing life dreams
Does God approve our toils?

Watch your companions expire en masse

Born in giftedness of innate purview,
Tending him like tender scion, is vital.
Send him to play, work isn't his battle.
Never let school, for him, be accidental,
Ergo, let's earn his souvenir from this review.
